It’s a new award and she’s the inaugural winner.Kylie's won her second Grammy award (best pop dance recording for Padam Padam)
X has a good selection of songs won't deny that. Just wish it wasn't as all over the place as it is!
Why you doing Kylie dirty like that, HitBerry? 2017-18 was wild, eh?
The last Record Store Day Kylie exclusive being the Goldenboy 7" vinyl in 2014, feels like a lifetime ago now. And still not a song I can never get into either.
Looking forward to the Body Language vinyl must admit, long overdue. It does feel a bit conspicuous that Rhino haven't been pumping out more colours of Fever and Light Years vinyl on Record Store Day, but I think RSD is trying to come away from that kind of behaviour and get labels into making more actual bespoke releases and previously unreleased/limited run on vinyl LPs pressed for RSD, to try and get away from the cash-grab reputation it has earned over the last decade; and if nothing else, at least give the art director in charge of Never Mind The Bollocks Box Sets a couple of years off from researching what new colours 58-year old men like.
Kylie vinyl likely sells consistent enough on its own schedule that clearing space in her calendar to have a limited RSD title that is fighting for attention with other releases is probably counter-productive. At least Body Language will have a whole week where it can get some nice reappraisal articles.

That vinyl mock up of Supernova that Kylie posted to her social media during the Disco era should have been a Record Day release.
And “Skirt”.Golden Boy slays. A little 10" of the Kiss Me Once offcuts (Crystalized / Waiting For the Sun/Sparks) for RSD woulda been cute.
Speaking of Kiss Me Once, Sexercise is slowly becoming one of my most listened to Kylie songs. I know it's basic, I just can't help but love it!
