Tears On My Pillow is still here...?
It's not, is it? I thought it left a while ago.

Now that some Aphrodite tracks have left, some thoughts on the wooden spoon holders from each album:

I Miss You - No complaints here.

My Secret Heart - Again, hard to argue, but I think last place in the entire rate was a bit harsh. It's cheesy, but it's not THAT bad.

Count The Days - Still can't remember how this goes, so no complaints.

No World Without You - It's the sole ballad on a generally unloved album, was there ever any doubt?

Falling - A bit dull and overlong, so no great surprise.

Through The Years - I knew it would be one of the first but I'm surprised I Don't Need Anyone outlived it.

Bittersweet Goodbye - Like a sore thumb on Light Years, but is it really a terrible song in and of itself?

Dancefloor - This one I don't understand. Mainly because I could rank every piece of recorded music in Kylie's discography and Give It To Me would still place in the bottom five.

I Feel For You - This one shocked me because I was fully expecting After Dark or maybe even Chocolate to leave first. This whole album is holding up better than I expected.

Heart Beat Rock - No better or worse than almost anything else on there, really.

Looking For An Angel - Somewhere in the middle for me.

Beautiful - Even as a confirmed hater of both Enrique Iglesias and vocoders, I can't help thinking this was harshly treated - not least because the embarrassing Sexercize is still with us.

Low Blow - The only choice. A mess.

(Yes, it's Sunday afternoon and I'm bored.)

I would have burned the forum to the ground.

My perception might be skewed because I joined this forum not long before Body Language was released, and I certainly remember how both the album as a whole, and Chocolate as a single, were received back then. Of course, that was a long time ago...
I am curious about what the initial reaction to Body Language was. What do y'all want as singles? Was it "Red Blooded Woman" and "Secret (Take You Home)" instead of "Chocolate"?

You'll be waiting a while before these go.

I was fully on board, but you just had to ruin it by mentioning Kiss Me Once and Your Body, didn't you?

Loveboat 6.91

Highest Score: 10 x 3 @WhatKindOfKylie?, @IntoTheBlue, @Crisp X
Lowest Score: 1 x 1 @SlowGinFizzzz

@mrdonut - 8 Unlike So Now Goodbye, this kitsch and ever-so-knowing slice of retro pop works
@hawkings24 - 8 I used to be put off by how camp this is but it's such a lovely vibe
@CasperFan - 7.5 Frothy fun and the perfect opener to the 2001 tour
@nanafan - 6.5 Cocktails, beach and sun. This track is what they were going for in the brief.

@Ugly Beauty - 5 Well, I appreciate the production....
@Andsov - 4 I appreciate Loveboat's campness, but it's very very annoying.
@M24 - 4 This is the first dud on an otherwise amazing album. It's cute, but the chorus is too basic.

Okay this one hurts a little. Loveboat is by far my favorite Light Years song. It’s super camp but the campness works perfectly this time. It has that loungy and relaxing atmosphere, and the arrangements are exquisite. I find her French to be so adorable as well! It’s really immersive and always makes me feel like it’s almost night time in the summer, and I'm partying with people on a cruise or at a beach party. Honestly, it’s pretty much the album cover in music form.

Super catchy, ridiculously clever lyrics... I mean “we’ll just float cos the beach is boring, our Loveboat is more alluring” is just one of many examples... lush production, amazing vocals... it’s got it all.

Yes it’s camp as hell, and I wouldn’t usually gravitate towards that kind of thing, but this is done so so well. Ditto Your Disco Needs You and Koocachoo.

10/10. A higher score than I gave any of the 4 singles.

Loveboat has grown on me so much in the last 18 months, although admittedly it had no business being part of KylieX2008, much like that entire beach section was pointless. I didn't expect it to make the top 100, I think people are just tanking songs for the sake of it because this song isn't a 1

Loveboat is such a guilty pleasure, but knew it wouldn't last much longer.

My next 10 cuts would be:
One Boy Girl
Word Is Out
Dangerous Game
Automatic Love
I Don't Need Anyone
Jump
Higher (With Taio Cruz)
Fine
Radio On
Music's Too Sad Without You (With Jack Savoretti)
