Stars is my first 10 to leave. I've always been fascinated by stars and constellations. I love to stare into the dark night sky at the stars shining clear and bright, looking at the different patterns and thinking about my place in the universe. To me the lyrics are about taking the awe and wonder I feel in those moments, and putting that into everyday life.

Taio Cruz suffering from the same fate that most British pop starlets — a flash of success followed by a fade into oblivion — is a pop justice.
I think there's a wider conversation to be had - not in this thread - about the utter failure of the UK music industry to nurture black talent, but I never actually saw it for Taio Cruz because he just didn't have 'it'. If you look at his videos, he might as well be an extra.

That's fair. I was thinking of how the UK fails its female talent, but it absolutely fails to nurture black talent as well.

I Don't Need Anyone 7.19

Highest Score: 10 x 5 @clowezra, @SlowGinFizzzz, @maverick_79,
@hawkings24, @Phonetics Boy
Lowest Score: 2 x 2 @Jacques, @Daniel_O

@hawkings24 - 10 This criminally underrated song, it's the better half of Some Kind of Bliss, still deserves as much recognition now as it did when I rated it a 10 five years ago.
@Andsov - 9 "I feel like speed, I feel like liquid". Goosebumps. OK, so the Manic tracks doesn't fit the album at all. But they're fantastic.
@CasperFan - 8.5 A better choice of single than Some Kind of Bliss maybe? SO happy this was performed at Anti-tour.

@mrdonut - 8 A bit of an unwelcome guest in the sequencing (probably could have made a very nice B-side) but I can’t hate it. A lovely slice of pop that sounds (musically and lyrically) like a family relation to McAlmont and Butler’s ‘Yes’ (by the way, what a tune that is)
@Ugly Beauty - 7.5 Why do I see this fit as an anime ending???

@M24 - 5.5 I feel like it's a bit fillerish, at least compared to the rest I've heard so far. It has potential, the execution leaves me dire though.
@nanafan - 5 The low point of the album but still good. The Manics may have produced plenty of media interest for Kylie but the style doesn’t suit her. Take Me With You should have taken its place on the album. Nice to see it on the Anti Tour though.

I've always liked this one. Reminds me very much of something the Cardigans would have done.

While I'm surprised it got this far, it seems a shame it only just beat Higher. Kylie co-creating a song with a band who turned out to have longevity as she did (Resistance Is Futile, their 13th and most recent album, got to #2 and they remain a successful touring act) versus a drive-by guest vocal for a five minute wonder. Really seems like it should have been no contest at all.

I thought this next one would've done better, but oh well...

A Lifetime To Repair 7.2

Lowest Score: 3 x 3 @nikkysan, @poshbabyyy, @Gnuh Gnuh

@Hudweiser - 9.5 This is the best 'Kountry Kylie' track.
@M24 - 9 Just like Dancing and Stop Me from Falling, this one is another magical blend of country and electropop! Too bad we didn't get a MV for it.
@Andsov - 8.5 Such a silly little song. I'm a big fan.

@CasperFan - 8 This would’ve scored higher but the vocals on the verses are some of her worst-so nasal. But the song is great-really went off live at the Golden Tour.
@hawkings24 - 8 The chorus is really lacking for me and it was a million times better live.
@nanafan - 7.5 A fun track reminiscent of Did It Again's message. The album version is definitive for me.

@Maki - 7 It's a nice representation of the country-pop sound of the album. However, I'm not impressed. It's so bland and basic, even though it's not bad at all.
@mrdonut - 5 Some great lyrics to enjoy here but this is very Rednex.
