Let's Get To It is a bad album, not on par with X or Aphrodite at all, imo.

That said, those two are both still quite mediocre records, and certainly don't deserve to be outperforming the weaker albums by... what? 10:1 at this point?

Although I like Finer Feelings (Single Mix) more than any post-2004 track by her so...

Too Much 7.24

Highest Score: 10 x 7 @clowezra, @SlowGinFizzzz, @Jacques, @GimmeWork,
@abael, @ankh, @Ana Raquel
Lowest Score: 1 x 1 @Andsov

@M24 - 8 The chorus has just so much energy, I love it!
@Verandi - 7.5 Would get a higher score if it didn't pierce my ears.
@Untouchable Ace - 7 It's not that bad, come on.
@nanafan - 7 Great track. Should have been a single.

@mrdonut - 7 Like In My Arms, it’s screaming out for some subtlety amongst the smashing-of-synths approach.
@Andsov - 1 Kylie has so many songs, and I find something I like in almost of them. It's Kylie after all, she can polish a turd and I'll buy it. But every now and then she miss the mark. Too Much for example. How that threesome could get things so wrong I will never understand. This is just three minutes of annoying noise.

The fact that X gets such reverential treatment from some on here, when even Kylie herself admitted it wasn't very good, will never not be funny to me.
I'm so conflicted with X. On one hand, it's lack of cohesion and it 's all over the place approach really annoys me. And whilst it does contain some fantastic tracks, a couple of it being among the strongest of her entire career, it just on the whole lacks a certain Kylie magic about it. Definitely my least favourite album of her Parlophone period.

Too Much is a bop, but just like in the case of Light Years and Spinning Around being picked over Under The Influence Of Love and Dancing selected as a lead from Golden over A Lifetime To Repair, they more than made the right choice to go with All The Lovers as single #1.

"Too Much" is good, but among the weaker among the remaining songs and I'm completely fine with it leaving. Actually, I'm surprised it didn't leave earlier.
The production is dated and messy (may I say, too much) at parts, and her vocals are too piercing, although the melody is pretty good.

My lowest remaining score is a 5,5 for "GBI", but it's reasonable that it is still in.
Though I would like to see "No More Rain" bow out before top 100, too.

I'm in the perplexed crowd as well. I don't get the hate for Too Much at all? I love it to the point of giving it a 9. I do have some slight criticisms though. I still can’t help but think there’s a clash between the verses and the chorus. The intro sounds like it belongs on a different song… like chord progression wise, and it bugs me.

The rest of the song is excellent in all its Ami Suzuki-ness though, and the last chorus is so energetic it makes me disregard the flaws.

Quite a big one now...

Outageous that this gem is out this early! Loved it then and still love it now!

Word Is Out 7.22

Highest Score: 10 x 5 @WhatKindOfKylie?, @CasperFan, @abael, @SophiaSophia, @Remorque
Lowest Score: 1.5 x 1 @mrdonut

@CasperFan - 10 I loved this straight away on hearing it and don’t get why it has such a bad reputation. Probably cos of it’s flop status and coming off the back of the golden 4. Love the new jack swing sound and really wish this had more love from fans and Kylie.
@nanafan - 9 I like Word Is Out but it wasn’t an obvious lead single. The video didn’t help it as Kylie as a hooker was the step too far. I think this is underrated. Love the Summer Breeze version too.

@Ugly Beauty - 9 I can't help but bop to this, I'm a sucker for the new swing jack vibe.
@Andsov - 8.5 It sure isn't her best lead single, but it's a great song nevertheless.
@Maki - 8.5 A change in style is apparent right from the start of this album. The verses are lovely and the best part of the song. I love how it still remains in the dancey region, but still incorporates new jack swing elements. I don't get why this song got so much hate in the previous rate. It's a great album opener and single choice, too.

@MrJames - 8 Whenever I listen to this I always wonder why it has such a dodgy position in Kylie’s discography. It’s a funky, fun song to my ears.
@Hudweiser - 7 I detested this for ages, maybe because it broke her string of Top 10 hits, but have come to like it a lot lately.

@M24 - 7 I don't know why I'm not the biggest fan of this lead single. One of her worst? That chorus just doesn't do enough. It's still pretty good anyway, love that jazzy breakdown.
@mrdonut - 1.5 Desperately seeking a decent chorus and a general reason for being, this is a turd of a choice for lead single, quite frankly, and I’m glad she doesn’t ever bother reviving it on tour.

I'm really shocked at this next album track beating some of the recent exits...

Obsession 7.25

Highest Score: 10 x 7 @WhatKindOfKylie?, @SlowGinFizzzz, @nikkysan, @hawkings24,
@poshbabyyy, @abael, @Crisp X
Lowest Score: 0 x 1 @Womanizer

@hawkings24 - 10 This song is such a vibe.
@Verandi - 7 Basic but enjoyable. It sounds very demo-ish.
@M24 - 7 "Obsession is a dangerous state of mind". As someone with obsessive tendencies… I agree.
@nanafan - 5 One of the better album tracks on this record. I always find Body Language a hard listen.
@mrdonut - 5 Very much an album track.
