@M24 - 11 I just love this one a lot. Makes me wanna vent out my frustrations over my boyfriend! I wonder why Kylie hates it. Is it really that cheesy? I've decided it's my 11, since it's really between this and "Better the Devil You Know" for me. In fact, I think the latter deserves the top spot, but since I know it's a favorite to get it, I'd rather give it to the other rightful candidate.
@Hudweiser - 10 I clearly remember Pete Waterman on some show saying "I know what the public wants! The public wants 'I Should Be So Lucky'" around this time - O Zone maybe? - and we got this, which most people likely saw as a backwards step and snubbed. For me though, it's bop-heaven.
@nanafan - 10 One of the best Kylie singles. I love love love this and would kill to see it performed live. Fits with the Rhythm Of Love era. I think this is going to do really well as it’s loved on the Popjustice forum.
@hawkings24 - 10 Absolutely gorgeous song and it's a crime she never performs it.
@Andsov - 10 After the progress of Rhythm of Love and Lets Get To It it was straight back to the original sound for Kylie. It feels deliberately ironic. But, most importantly What Kind of Fool is a brilliant pop song.
@MrJames - 10 I just adore this. It’s like a victory of lap of everything that made her career so great up until that point. It works so brilliantly as a Greatest Hits single. It’s such a shame that Kylie doesn’t perform this one... ever.
@CasperFan - 8.5 Loved this although was a bit of a backwards step when first released and she really needed to move on from SAW at this point. Really would kill to hear this performed live one day.
@Maki - 8 This is like they persuaded her to do that typical PWL moment for the last time. The result is very good, though. I especially like the chorus, but, yeah, still too dance-pop for me.
@mrdonut - 7.5 At the time this really did feel quite regressive but I do believe it deserves more love from fans, the GP and Kylie herself.
@Verandi - 0 What Kind Of Nightmare (Shoulda Binned It All Before). Imagine finally coming close to quality with Finer Feelings and then dropping this turd. I get she was forced by the label so I'll let ha breathe, especially because listening to Confide In Me after this gives me an orgasms.

Oh well,this seriously and truly does hurt!!! I am just amazed it managed to hang on as long as it did given the lack of love for PWL Kylie here. I love What Kind Of Fool, it may have been deemed a step backwards, but think it was a great way to pay homage to her earlier PWL days. Worth it for this moment alone:
"Where in the World?" was done so wrong. Easily the best out of the three songs.
For a loooong time I mistook the love What Kind of Fool got for What Do I Have To Do, thinking to myself "yeah, that is a great song". There are so many better cheesy pop songs by Kylie/PWL that What Kind of Fool just sounds average in comparison.
You gotta keep the girls guessing!
After the undeserved tanking of X and Body Language album tracks, I'm not sorry.
