Probably my least favourite song left from Fever, but once again I can think of better candidates from the later albums.

With Surrender gone, I'd be surprised if Automatic Love was far behind. Not a world of difference between the two, is there?

Fragile is incredible.

'cause I'm fragile when I hear your name
Fragile when you call
This could be the nearest thing to love
And I'm fragile when I hear you speak
Fragile feeling small
This could be the closest thing to love

I will never forget the first time I listened to it. I had just bought Fever (which was the first Kylie album I owned), I bought it in a charity shop for £1 because I found the cover art so striking that I had to see if the music matched the artwork nn. At the time, I had no idea who Kylie Minogue was. I remember being fully blown by every single track, but Fragile took me by surprise. Fever as an album is relentless, full of icy cold bangers, but in the middle of it, Fragile comes into play. It's a complete switch-up from the high-tempo songs that come beforehand, providing a breath of fresh air, but still maintaining a clear cohesion with the parent album - something that a lot of slower songs in dance-heavy albums tend to struggle with.

I personally love Kylie's 'vulnerable' tracks - as you will see from the rest of my 11s - and Fragile is one of her best in this regard. It's stunningly lush. I'm not surprised to see it go out now considering slower songs tend to struggle in rates, regardless of that, I think the average is what I expected.

Those two really hurt oh my ... I just love Fragile, and it should not have gone out before anything that's left on Kiss Me Once, and honestly the majority of what's left from Golden. Never Too Late is also unreal, I have no idea why I didn't give it a 10, but it's obviously suffering as part of the PWL parade

Ugh, not Fragile! I'm so sad it's out.

Admittingly, it is my most played Fever track the title track comes in a close 2nd. She sings with such vulnerability, delicacy and well, fragility, that you believe every word she's saying. It really is so subtle and so emotional. I'm never not in the mood to listen to Fragile.

But I get butterflies
Water in my eyes
When I think of you...
I could break in two-o-o

Ugh. So lush. Would've been a contender for my 11 along with The One and I Believe In You. Really upset I didn't see this rate open in time.

Sorry, but I never heard anything exceptional about "Fragile". It's evidently a good mid-tempo song, but the melody doesn't do much for me. Also, the verses are a bit better than the chorus.
Still, it received a 7 from me, since I love the backing vocals, as well as the production.

@Ana Raquel - 11 This bassline is magnificent.
@Sprockrooster - 11 Like A Drug who? This is that dark dancefloor banger that has that Kylie-infectiousness to it. Exactly what I love and I am thrilled I can throw my love for it. By far my fave from this album! She snapped on this album and I feel like Say Hey embodies that perfectly without sounding too experimental.

@mrdonut - 10 A very effective encapsulation of what it’s like to need communication with the one you love. Pure class in every way.
@Andsov - 9 This song has so many layers, I keep hearing new sounds and sighs.
@nanafan - 8 Minimalist chic. Sounds dark and brooding and works really well.

@CasperFan - 7 Understated and one that really grew on me-not her most melodic but quite hypnotic.
@M24 - 7 Just as, if not more atmospherical than Breathe.. Wish Kylie owned that instrumental though, because it feels like that's the only thing that makes this track good. There's just not enough variation in the lyrics or in the melody.
