Some Kind Of Bliss, whilst perhaps her biggest mishap as a lead single ever, is actually one fantastic song and just as euphoric as her many dance pop moments. It's also one of my most played songs of all time and never, ever fails to put me in a good mood. Sounds especially amazing on a hot summer's days too. Only thing I hate about it, is that artwork!

So much to catch up on!

Automatic Love - 9 I would give everything for her to go back to a similar soundscape in the future. I guess I can still put on Jessie Ware’s Devotion instead. The strings centric bridge is a career highlight even if it’s short.

Sleeping With The Enemy - 10 Come on, how do you relegate such a fantastic and instant classic song to the bonus side? I’m still flabbergasted by this decision. It’s like a lost Massive Attack feature, and I wish she would go in this direction next. Top tier Kylie.

Put Your Hands Up (If You Feel Love) - 9 I love the eerie verses, and the build up that recalls Jamiroquai’s dancier moments. The beginning of the chorus feels a bit been there done that, but its second half gives it more energy.

Fine - 8.5 Another underrated album track? I think it could have been on any of her 00’s albums, and wouldn’t have sounded out of place.

If Only - 7 Looks like I never truly acknowledged this one. It sounds more in line with the drum-centric indie pop sound of that time, like Foxes or Florence + The Machine, which is refreshing to hear from Kylie. It doesn’t really go anywhere though.

Feels So Good - 8.5 The forgotten album track I finally paid attention to many years later. The tiny and distant Garibay-like mixing hurts it a little too, which is a shame as the melodies are there but feel buried.

Shelby '68 - 5 I appreciate the lyrical message, but the song is forgettable.

Cupid Boy - 10 What a HUGE build up and what a fantastic chorus. The way she plays with her voice on the latter, often purposely going off key, just makes me melt. It was an early Aphrodite favorite and many years later, still remains one of my favorite deep cuts ever. It should have been a single.

Some Kind of Bliss - 7.5 Perhaps the wrong choice for a lead single, sometimes I wonder if it was meant to attract fans of male rock and britpop bands of that time, but there’s barely anything else on the album that sounds like this so what's the point? I now like it, but that’s because I still want Kylie to explore her rock side a little more one day.

I've seen I think a couple of people mention this next one, I was surprised it did so well...

Right Here, Right Now (With Giorgio Moroder) 8.1

Highest Score:
10 x 10
@WhatKindOfKylie?, @Sprockrooster, @m_dimitrov, @SlowGinFizzzz, @Womanizer, @maverick_79, @hawkings24, @Physical, @IntoTheBlue, @Crisp X
Lowest Score: 3 x 1 @Daniel_O

@Sprockrooster - 10 Kylie scored a hat-trick with this for me. For three consecutive years she was in my top 5 of the year. After Skirt and Kiss Me Once miss Minogue snatched me all over again. This song is also timeless.
@hawkings24 - 10 Oh this is such a bop oh my god.
@Untouchable Ace - 9.5 Masterful
@madgemad - 9 Absolutely wonderful song, severely under looked. My only gripe is that the fade out at the end is so sudden - I want more!

@Andsov - 9 Such a great song, it deserved to be bigger. The chorus is a little to high-pitched, but the rest is amazing.
@CasperFan - 9 What a combination, I demand a full Moroder produced Kylie album now!
@Maki - 8 The better "Right Here, Right Now" for sure. Very dancey, so it really suits Kylie. Had to get used to those high notes, although the song is great.

@nanafan - 7.5 I feel this should have done more but it lacks something, a good song but not a banger.
@mrdonut - 7 The verses are so much stronger than the actual chorus.
@M24 - 5 I feel like Giorgio can do better than this, even if it's quite a serviceable bop. Should've led with Tom's Diner.

"Right Here, Right Now" is a bop, but it's disappointing that a collaboration with Giorgio Moroder sounds just like a standard Kylie track.
I was a bit disappointed when it was released as it did sound a bit Kylie on auto-pilot but in the context of Moroder’s album, it strangely sounded the most modern and fresh?

"Right Here, Right Now" is a great collaboration, but this is about the right time for its departure.
Still, there are obviously weaker songs still around.

I'm pleased that all three of my 11's reached top 60 (though two of them are in a strong contention for a sure top 10 placement).

Just catching up with all of this from over the weekend. Thankfully nothing of real value was lost, although I do love Shelby '68 and If Only, I think they did well enough.

Things Can Only Get Better still hanging on is such a serve though!
