@Hudweiser - 10 A big time favourite, the melody is a wrecking ball to anything in its path.
@nanafan - 10 Should have been a single. Thankfully it was finally performed on the Anti Tour. I love this album.
@mrdonut - 10 This is ABBA done oh so right.

@Andsov - 10 It's such a massive song, and it really is Kylie doing what Kylie does best in the world; dancing with a tear in her eye.
@CasperFan - 10 How this was not a single AND ignored on the OANLT tour is beyond me, totally Kylie, totally camp, brilliantly produced and sung, thank god for Anti-tour! We need a 10 min Steve Anderson produced extended version!

@Verandi - 7.5 I took half a point off because of the bells.
@M24 - 7 Wish the chorus lived up to the verses and that amazing pre-chorus omg. Think a remix would do this wonders.

Wow I just lost two 10s in a row.

Disco Down is such a cool fun song. I love the way Kylie sings the lyric “it’s been 10 years now this Sunday, since you left... or was it Monday?”

Too Far is another cool track but in a completely different way. Such a brilliant album opener.

Damn it, Too Far is god-tier Kylie. Who would’ve thought the girl who sang I Should Be So Lucky and Locomotion could produce something to dark and claustrophobic? Brilliant commentary @mrdonut.

Disco Down’s a bop but I always found it to be a teensy bit overrated by fans.

Dancing really needs to fuck off.

"Disco Down" leaving before the title track of "Light Years" is a bit unexpected and a bit unfair. I don't really get the fuss about the latter.
Anyways, it's one of the best album tracks in all of its ABBA-esque glory and I gave it an 8.5, since it's very enjoyable and catchy.

Also, "Aphrodite" being the longest lasting non-single from that album is quite undeserving and random, especially when "Closer", "Illusion" and "Cupid Boy" exist.

Disco Down - 11. I only gave one 11 to highlight my favourite Kylie song. The lyrics about someone looking back to the past, wondering about how their life could have changed so much are very relatable. The vocals are enchanting, balancing humour and sadness perfectly. Musically there are so many great flourishes from guitars, synths, strings and yes, bells. The Chic and ABBA references add to the overall nostalgic feel. The song has an instinctive emotional effect on me.

Now it's gone I am rooting for my second favourite Parlophone song 'Love At First Sight.'

Aphrodite - 10 Perhaps the best most unique album track on its parent album. It gives me 80’s vibes with those guitars, and I think it contains one of her best hooks ever, or at least one of her most memorable. And what a lovely bridge! I Intemporal bop.

Butterfly - 8 At least, some of the Impossible Princess sounds has carried over Light Years.

Stop Me From Falling - 9 I love the nostalgic feel of the instrumental, and it’s one of the rare cases where the country elements were actually implemented, and didn’t just feel like pastiche. I still wish it had an actual bridge, but the chorus is infectious so repeating it once more is fine. One of Golden’s highlights.

Too Far - 10 A masterpiece that combines drum’n’bass, Halloween soundtrack vibes and eerie melodies, with one of her best performances on top. What an opener. Nice call on the Curve reference in one of the commentary bits too.

Disco Down - 6.5 This would have popped off with more modern production. The guitar’s old school tone doesn’t really fit the music. Overall, still have a problem with the melodies and chord progressions… it just sounds so corny to me? I do like the presence of strings and the lyrics.

@hawkings24 - 10 Oh what an actual serve.
@Andsov - 10 All of X should've been like this.
@CasperFan - 10 Perfect electro pop, single-worthy!
@Verandi - 10 Easily one of her strongest choruses ever. The production is flawless.
@nanafan - 9.5 One of the best album tracks on X. Brought to life on the tour with the skull. An example of why X is a strong album.
@MrJames - 8.5 Stone-cold, icy bop.
@mrdonut - 8 Kylie does Visage and brings the house down.
@M24 - 8 Earworm of a chorus. The verses don't hit me as much as the chorus though, otherwise I'd give it an even higher score.
