So i was Wows sole 11 and I ain't ashamed, I absolutely adore it. It was the standout song for me when I first listened to X and it's still my favourite, when a song is instant to me and I never ever get sick of it I know it's special to me.

Also @WhatKindOfKylie? did you just give a blanket score of 10 to everything?? El oh el...

Out of those left in the rate, I'd like to see this as the top 10 in no particular order.

Better The Devil You Know
Shocked
What Do I Have To Do?
Step Back In Time
Timebomb
Breathe
Put Yourself In My Place
Into The Blue
The One
Chocolate

I'm... gonna take a cute Top 30 for Cowboy Style and avoid complaining too much* but seeing Light fucking Years and the PWL album having more tracks left than any other album is a mess. The Bimbo gays are a danger to society.

I'll concede that the Rhythm Of Love singles are cute, especially compared to the horror show(s) that came before them, but if any of them breaks into the Top 10 there's no hope for the gays. "Timebomb" and "Kiss Me Once" are empty but at least are produced well I guess.

The fact that some people read "cowboy" and therefore think the song is country really shows that all she needed to do with Golden was put a guitar, a pair of boots and a saloon font in the mix to make y'all believe it's a remarkable album while it actually deflates after three tracks. Truly the weakest thing she's put out since Let's Get To It, my disdain for it grows bigger every day. Oh and "Lost Without You" might as well be one of the three tracks on Golden without a terrible twangy pastiche production dunked on top of it, but it still sounds like shit and had it been part of Aphrodite or Kiss Me Once, the albums it desperately tries to capture the sound of, y'all would have tanked it, but maybe this is still a conversation some are not ready to have. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Gotta say tho, I enjoy seeing the three Body Language singles reach the Top 30 and piss on the graves of the first two albums. Some of y'all tried it, but still failed. x

Maybe Kylie’s just not for you after all?

Calling for the Rhythm Of Love singles to leave is a choice. Those songs have aged remarkably well and are as much loved by casual fans as the Kylie die-hards, and rightly so. Giving some of the more recent stuff a pass for being better produced - well, the last few Terminator movies have more advanced special effects than the 1982 original, but I know which one I'll be watching again.

Put it this way: don't be too surprised when someone runs this rate again in five years and the Rhythm Of Love singles perform just as well, while the X/Aphrodite/Kiss Me Once tracks fall off a cliff.

@P'NutButter, is it too much to ask if you can do two eliminations per day now that we're into the top 30?
It's just that most of the remaining somgs will be painful cuts for a lot of voters, so there's some room for commentary and such.

It's up to you lot, you basically read my mind though. It was three a day because I had so many to chuck out, but I think I can cut it down now to two, starting with one now...

@SinceYouTookYourPopAway - 11 There were about 6 contenders for an 11 from the DeCon era. However Dreams has always been a favourite, even over the obvious pop masterpiece of Confide In Me. Dreams live at the Show Girl tour Dublin in 2005? It took me to an even higher place of love for this woman that I didn't even think was possible.
@Crisp X - 11 Sonically, it slightly sounds like a callback to Cowboy Style, so in that place it bookends Impossible Princess wonderfully. The layers of production, the range of instruments used, the transcendent bridge… To think it also marks the end of indie Kylie. What a way to go out. One of her best closers and also one of her best songs ever.

@mrdonut - 10 An anthem if there ever was one. Why does Kylie suit strings so well? The PERFECT album closer.
@Andsov - 10 Lyrics on point, vocals on point. Impossible Princess.
@nanafan - 9 Kylie clearly loves this track and so do I. Atmospheric, classy and mature. A great closing track to the album.

@CasperFan - 8.5 Gorgeous!
@Hudweiser - 8 This one is up there vocally and those strings are just perfect.
@M24 - 7 It's a great album closer, and I like the lyrics a lot in this one. Thank god it gains a bit more energy as the song goes on.
