*sigh*

All the music that you like is still there and you are free to listen to it at any time.
What... are you even trying to say with this? It reminds me of my parents telling me that the actors in movies didn't actually die.

If you are surprised that Kylie's bigger moments commercially, including Light Years, her comeback! And big PWL songs that have remained iconic throughout her hit filled career as still here then I don't know what to tell you
I'm not surprised by this. I just hoped for a better (for me) outcome, that's how a rate works.

A lot of Kylie fans genuinely love her early PWL stuff. They were there when they were first released and have been fans of her since day one or just discovered the early stuff later and enjoyed it. And Kylie and disco is a thing, it just is. It's not trolling or trying it. It's just a fact. I appreciate and enjoy every part of her back catalogue. There are of course songs from every era that I detest though.
Something something you didn't read my post.

Imagine if everybody liked the same shit, you'd just be like everybody else. You wouldn't be special! Appreciate the diversity.
We're all depressed [redacted] on a music forum in the year of our Lord 2020. Makes you think.

Bimbo gays!!! A mess.
A running PJ joke, soz if you didn't catch the irony.

Better The Devil You Know
What Do I Have To Do?
Shocked

Confide In Me
Put Yourself In My Place

Breathe

Spinning Around
On A Night Like This

Love At First Sight
Can't Get You Out Of My Head
In Your Eyes

Slow
Red Blooded Woman

I Believe In You

The One

All The Lovers
Get Outta My Way

Into The Blue
Kiss Me Once

Every Day's Like Christmas*

Lost Without You
.

Just goes to show how strong her discography because all of those songs are fantastic.

So happy that Breathe and Every Day's Like Christmas are still in.

Well, it's not a bad top twenty! Some favorites are gone but I think that was to be expected as her singles discography is THAT good.

I'd really like Kiss Me Once (5.5) and Lost Without You (7) to leave next, however. My highest rated album tracks were Fever and Closer (both 9s), which we lost those a hundred pages ago, so I can't stand the former two sneaking their way into the top ten (it's bad enough they made it into the top twenty).

Wow. The singles effect is real with you! I gave a lot of album tracks a 10 as they are often better than the singles!

Yeah, I guess it is! But I have the theory that long-time fans are more likely to appreciate album tracks over singles than new fans like me. I mean, the only single I've gotten tired of is Can't Get You Out of My Head, and that's because I'd heard the song a long time ago.

A Top 11:

Better the Devil You Know
What Do I Have To Do?
Confide in Me
Love at First Sight
Can't Get You Out of My Head
In Your Eyes
Red Blooded Woman
The One
Get Outta My Way
Into the Blue

Literally every one of my 9s and 10s remaining and the rest are less than that.

I think it's quite apt that this next one kicks off our top 20, just as Kylie's about to launch a new era...

@nanafan - 10 The third track in this era that was nearly my 11. I’m not tired of this at all. When it came it was everything I wanted Kylie to be and I was so pleased when it exploded. I love everything about it, iconic video, a dance routine and the track itself. The roar when she sings “do you like what you see” is amazing.
@CasperFan - 9 So hard to be objective about some of these songs, especially if they are over played. Still a tune and really put Kylie back in her rightful princess of pop position. A definite crowd pleaser live.
@M24 - 8 Disco Kylie! Love this one, even if it's not even my favorite among the singles here.

@Hudweiser - 7.5 Kylie released this on my 22nd birthday.
@mrdonut - 7.5 A textbook comeback song and what an era this was to experience; going from IP’s wilderness years where everyone looked at you strangely when you said you were a Kylie fan to suddenly the world and his wife raving about Spinning Around’s video. A great pop song but I never actively seek it out; that might be due to wear out from back in 2000. It’s interesting that she hasn’t worked with Mike Spencer more often: he’s produced some great pop songs (Emeli’s Heaven, Cheryl’s Let You, Diana’s Once, etc.)

@Verandi - 7 A classic but also… not that good? It sounds very dated.
@Andsov - 6.5 Spinning Around will never be my favourite song, but it was the perfect comeback.

Spinning Around was the perfect comeback for her and is now quite rightly one of her signature songs.

Although I’ve only just really realised what an odd title for a song it is.

This rate is gonna end up making me hate Kiss Me Once though, and I actually quite like it. I just don’t get how it has gotten further than SPINNING AROUND! Come on!

Nooo my first 11 falls. Quite surprised that I'm the only 11 giver for it.
I kind of sensed from single rankings in the general thread that Spinning Around is not that universally loved as I was imagining it to be, I thought that it might miss the Top 10, but I couldn't imagine it actually leaving at #20.
Although she's played it numerous times, it's one of the few songs that I think have ALWAYS delivered live.
