Kylie really got the fuzzy end of the lollipop that day; it was the biggest performance of her career comeback so far, and she was hampered by malfunctioning monitors and an audience barely visible under their umbrellas. Still, you can't fault her professionalism in soldiering on regardless.

I knew that one of my 9+ scores is getting a cut, while those two random album tracks are still hanging on somehow. "Spinning Around" is excellent and actually deserved a top 10 placement out of the remaining songs.

And while I'm not mad that there are only three PWL songs in the top 20, I'm mad that "Finer Feelings" (or even "Turn It into Love") isn't among them.

So Kiss Me Once is apparently a better song than Spinning Around?

I love the track but the brain worms in this rate, maybe if there's ever another one I'll actually participate.
Yeah, I'm not saying it's a bad song by any means. I like it. But in her top 19 songs ever, when we've already lost countless songs that are better than it? Nah, fuck off.

I'm not even going to get into the Christmas song, which is great for what it is but is only still here because only about 10 people voted on the Christmas songs ddd.

she/her
Mess. Come Into My World ranking lower than In Your Eyes... the cheapness, mama.

Edit: oh and fucking Lost Without You
What the fuck is wrong with you all? Come Into My World is top-tier Kylie.
The chorus, the verses, the video and the outro! we're ascending etc.
I knew I could trust both of you <3
'Come Into My World' was the first song I was able to love from Kylie and stan I was also finally sort of old enough to embrace pop music and start to find out what I liked and didn't.
She's a Queen.
She's a Grammy winner.

Well done to the director of the video for following a vision and changing the length and structure of the song to execute his cinematography.

I love you @Crisp X.
I'm growing tired of @nanafan for constantly lacking taste in this rate.

In our world, that song would be in the top 5.

Anyway...

Light Years - 7 For a dance pop song, I appreciate its dreamier soundscape which makes it one of her most interesting closers. I know, that sounds like high praise considering the score. That said, when she goes in that speech, I lose it. Perhaps it deserved a 8 just for that part.

Spinning Around - 9 It's one of those classics I don't revisit that much for some reason. I remember the smile on my face as a kid every time this would be on the radio or TV. There’s probably some cassette footage of me dancing to this somewhere. Fond childhood memories that foreshadowed my love for pop music.

I think for a lot of us 'Spinning Around' will always remain a classic, but over the years we've just grown tired of it and that reflects in the scores, it still got an incredible average and things are so tight now!

@hawkings24 - 10 What a lovely song.
@Andsov - 10 Such a beautiful song, a strong contender for my favourite off Kiss Me Once. She performed the hell out of it on the tour. Vocals are a little nasal.
@MrJames - 10 Such a gorgeous, euphoric song.
@Untouchable Ace - 9.5 Another missed opportunity involving a seeming fear of title tracks.

@nanafan - 9 Lovely track, one of the best on the album with lovely instrumentation.
@mrdonut - 9 Despite this screaming Sia (and when does she not scream), this totally aligns with the Kylie brand. A fantastic song, it never quite gets to 10 for me due to some of those ear-drum-bursting screeches.
@CasperFan - 9 Should’ve been single number 2 (something slightly off about the vocal production on this though).

@M24 - 5.5 Love the verses but hate that chorus, it's a bit basic to my ears? I know it's a forum favorite (which is odd considering it was penned by Sia.. And I usually like Sia's bops), I really tried to like it.
@Verandi - 4 Too cheesy for me. I hate those bells, specifically.
