Red Blooded Woman 8.98

Highest Score: 11 x 3 @Sprockrooster, @SlowGinFizzzz, @Holly Something
10 x 19 @WhatKindOfKylie?, @aux, @DJHazey, @hawkings24, @Physical, @muddleddreams, @poshbabyyy, @tylerc904, @Daniel_O, @GimmeWork, @MrJames, @Robsolete, @Robert, @Verandi, @Markus1981, @Sail On, @Ana Raquel, @Untouchable Ace, @Maki
Lowest Score: 3 x 1 @Gnuh Gnuh

@Sprockrooster - 11 My runner-up in the previous Kylie part of this rate and now I will award that coveted double '1'. This song is an outlier in her discography and consequently why I love it. Kylie making hiphop accessible with her infectious pop sound is an invention many of her pop peers can still learn from.
@Holly Something - 11 It was between this and The One, but I feel like this song will need it more than The One does. It's just such a bop, I love the message of the lyrics and the production.

@hawkings24 - 10 The serve of the century.
@Verandi - 10 The ultimate banger from the album. Amazing.
@Untouchable Ace - 10 I was addicted to this song, the best of the era.
@M24 - 9.5 It hits me more than Slow. Gets my second highest score for the album.

@Ugly Beauty - 9.5 Basically Kylie channeling her inner Namie Amuro, love it.
@KingBruno - 9.5 It’s a very Sugababes-esque futuristic pop single.
@mrdonut - 8.5 Could have really not worked but yes, this definitely works. The Dead or Alive reference keeps this still very much within the Kylie world. Great video too.

@Andsov - 7.5 SayHey went into a meltdown with this release. Good times. RnB lite is not my preferred direction for Kylie, but Red Blooded Woman is a good song.
@nanafan - 7 When I first heard the album this and Chocolate stood out as the singles. Still sounds good but not one of my favourites of her singles.
@CasperFan - 7 Not a Kylie classic by any means but she does it well.

I definitely prefer Chocolate and a couple of Body Language album tracks over this, but I'm pretty happy it did so well. I thought Kylie stans hated this one almost as much as Chocolate. This actually sounds like an attempt to chase after the R&B sound that was big in the US at the time that detractors accuse the entire album of doing.

My joint highest scorer from the album along with slow (9). I can’t believe the hate this song got from Kylie.co.uk back in the day. So what if she’s chasing a market? When it’s this good just enjoy it! What I love about Kylie is that she has tackled pretty much every musical style that you can think of. Others just don’t have the range dahhhlings.

Body Language is my favorite Kylie album of all time, no doubt.

This is the worst song on it, the only one to catch a low score from me. I hate that it beat out everything bar Slow.

Of course one of my remaining few 10's leaves. "Red Blooded Woman" is actually my favourite single from "Body Language" and easily deserved a top 10 placement. Such a fantastic song.

I'm getting pissed about "Lost Without You" still being in somehow and that it very possibly managed to snatch a 9+ average score. How did that happen?!

Honestly, double check the scores for 'Lost Without You' at this point to beat the last two songs is absolutely absurd. Hot Blooded Woman is one of the sexiest videos I've ever seen in my life, it could be 0 degrees here in Maine and it's suddenly 100 degrees in the room once I hit play.
