I saw quite a few people rank All The Lovers on the lead singles lists quite low (her lead singles are super strong no doubt), very curious how it will do here, I thought Top 10 was a given but now I'm not so sure anymore.
Well I for one feel like it plods along too much looking for a climax only to die slow a death instead. One of her worst lead singles to be honest.

Shocked - 10. I have a new appreciation for the album version after this rate, but the 10 is for the DNA mix, which has one of the best openings in pop history. The synths and piano are amazing and I even love the rap. The perfect pop single.

"Shocked" went much further that I wanted, but it was expected. The album version is better, but I don't find the song too special, just like the majority of PWL songs.

These can leave before the top 10:
What Do I Have To Do
Put Yourself In My Place
Breathe
All The Lovers
Lost Without You

I know most of them probably won't, but let me hope.

Honestly I can't wait to boot out tonight's track.

But not for the reasons you'd think...

Lost Without You 9.1

Highest Score: 10 x 23 @P'NutButter, @Adora Day, @Jóga, @WhatKindOfKylie?, @m_dimitrov, @clowezra, @SlowGinFizzzz, @nikkysan, @aux, @mrdonut, @madgemad, @hawkings24, @WoW73, @Physical, @muddleddreams, @Andsov, @poshbabyyy, @ankh, @Crisp X , @SophiaSophia, @Markus1981, @Touchofmyhand, @Untouchable Ace
Lowest Score: 5 x 4 @KingBruno, @AGiantSheep, @Aester, @Ana Raquel

@mrdonut - 10 So nearly my choice of 11. The spoken word middle section made me burst into tears on my first listen and it’s still so poignant. ‘We’re all glitter and tears in the moonlight’ is an achievement to be proud of, as is that chorus. This is the one song I want to play to Kylie naysayers the most.
@hawkings24 - 10 This song is gorgeous and I am SO glad she performed it on tour.
@Untouchable Ace - 10 Make this the album and be done with it.
@Andsov - 10 Lost Without You is a phenomenon.
@nanafan - 9.5 Should have been on the main album, glad it got its time to shine on tour. Superb track.

@Verandi - 7.5 On paper, it's easily the best song on the album, even if it's pretty much been there done that better before. Shame about the production being so muddy and demo-ish.
@M24 - 7 I would've put it in the standard edition! It's too good not to! Even if it's not very country-induced… neither is Raining Glitter, so I would've traded places with that one.
@Maki - 7 There's a lot of potential here. However, the song is too much of a basic pop and I'm not a fan of the spoken middle-8. Consider this score generous.

The songs I'd want to leave before the top 10 would be, judging by my scores:
Better The Devil You Know
What Do I Have To Do?
On A Night Like This
Put Yourself In My Place or In Your Eyes

But, being objective, it's a miracle that Breathe is still here. I'd love to see the mighty trio of I Believe In You - The One - Get Outta My Way reaching the top 10.

Golden, the album that still upsets some people because it wasn’t actually country country!
I *think* the issue is not the album being a country pastiche, but most of the songs being generally bland and the mixing a disaster. A good clean-up could make the album a Kylie top5 but as it is...

Lost Without You is good - I gave it an 8, but I rated 5 songs on the album above it. And 3 others on par with it.

I get that it’s the most lush / expensive sounding track on the album, but it’s never “done it for me” like it seems to for so many others. Can’t put my finger on why.
