@Hudweiser - 10 The best single from Light Years, has that late-summer vibe, yes the 'Waiting for Tonight' comparisons are undeniable, only this is better.
@nanafan - 10 Clear follow up single on the album and a cover she has made her own. I have always loved this and still do.
@mrdonut - 10 A simply brilliant choice of cover that Kylie makes all her own. Fantastic pick for follow up single too, I get more excited about hearing this on tour than Spinning Around.
@hawkings24 - 10 One of her biggest serves.

@Epic Chocolat - 10 Such fun, such a party anthem.
@M24 - 9 That pre-chorus is so good! And then the chorus gives me so much joy too!
@CasperFan - 8.5 Never been a huge favourite but still a bop!
@Andsov - 3 Severely overrated. On record it's generic eurodance. It's an incredible live song though, so an extra point for that.

I hoped On A Night Like This would survive maybe 3 more eliminations but still a pretty good average. It's aging gracefully and is getting better with time.
That said - they absolutely need to update the live arrangement, I wouldn't also mind hearing the Abbey Road version live.

Hoping for Get Outta My Way out next.

"On a Night Like This" definitely deserved top 5 placement out of the remaining songs and I'm a bit surprised it didn't end up a few places higher.
I do get the criticism that it sounds a bit dated, but it's so well produced, which still makes it kind of fresh.

Oh, and I just noticed that "In Your Eyes" currently holds the title for the highest lowest score, with only receiving one 6.5 and nothing lower than that - talent!

In A Wig Like This was one of the choices for my Parlo 11 and should have been Top 5.

And if I see one more of you redacteds calling this dated, there'll be consequences. Iconic and classic isn't dated, luvs.

Also, I've never really thought of the similarities to Waiting For Tonight before, somehow. Both incredible.

I don't find 'On A Night Like This' dated, but even if a song is 'dated,' I don't care as long as it's good. I gave the song 10 and it's as exhilarating today as it was when it was released.

Light Years is such a great album. It will be interesting to see which album gets the highest average.

PS. The original Waiting For Tonight is a 10.
