This continuing lack of respect for her earlier PWL songs has to stop, a 0 is seriously too harsh for a song that is most certainly nowhere near her worst material released. It’s one of my favourite covers Kylie’s done I like that it stays faithful to the original. I scored this a 9 like last time Tears On My Pillow deserved to go top 50. Honestly I wouldn’t mind if Kylie sang doo-wop again.

I gave 'Tears On My Pillow' 5. I'm not a huge fan of the song in any version and Kylie's is average but not offensive to me. I listen to it or skip it depending on my mood.

"Tears on My Pillow" is an unexpected exit. Among all those annoying songs that could've beem booted, it leaves instead? Doo-wop is very uncommon style for Kylie and the song stands out in a great way.
It really is a good and pleasant cover that didn't deserve to leave so early at all. The 7,5 I gave it is one of my highest scores from "Enjoy Yourself" and there's so much worse left. Not a big loss, but it's surely underrated.

I don't really get why all of her PWL ballads are getting so much hate..

I gave it an 8, I've really warmed to it lately. Also recently watched The Delinquents for the first time and I dunno I just really enjoyed it, what was the general consensus of that film when it was released? And what do people think now?

It did OK in the box office and got reasonable reviews. It is what it is. A bit melodramatic in parts but a decent film. I'm glad that ultimately she stuck to singing.

Tears On My Pillow. A song that helped fit in with the whole 50's feel of The Delinquents and so did that very well as a cross promotion. Just such a shame this was Kylie's only UK #1 of the 1990's, when there was so many other worthy contenders that decade to have had that honour.

Anyway, RIP Enjoy Yourself ballads, not long for this rate world.

I love this film, glad it's at least around to stream if not on DVD anywhere.

I'll Still Be Loving You 5.38

Highest Score: 10 x 1 @Gnuh Gnuh
Lowest Score: 0 x 1 @SlowGinFizzzz

@nanafan - 9 Fabulous album track. I was over the moon when we got a snippet of this on the Golden Tour
@Hudweiser - 8 This could be revisited with better production and be a monster of a ballad; the chorus melody is so good.
@CasperFan - 8 Another song I LOVED when I heard the album- I just loved Kylie’s vocals on the chorus, a hint of that she was capable of. I squealed when she sang a bit of it on the Golden tour.

@mrdonut - 6 The wonderful Steve Anderson says this is one of his favourite ever Kylie songs. I remain confused.
@Maki - 6 This is very cute, although I'm still not impressed. I like some parts, but the melody could've definitely been better. The pre-chorus is my favourite part.
@hawkings24 - 5 Cute, a bit slow, but was pleasantly surprised when she sang it on the Golden Tour
@M24 - 4 Just like "I Miss You", this one is just decent. Has nothing else going for it. In fact it's my lowest ranked song for the album.
@MrJames - 3 80s schmaltz.

I am not too surprised really. Like this more now following that EPIC ending spliced with Wouldn't Change A Thing on the Golden Tour, but it is still one of the 2 weakest songs on the debut along with the already eliminated I Miss You. Now people, please leave the otherwise strong Kylie album alone for a good while, please!
