Of course, the music video for Give Me Just A Little More Time, left an lasting legacy as Take That had an virtually identical video two years later, for Everything Changes!
Both videos are in fact filmed in the exactly same location, I’m forever grateful that Give Me Just A Little More Time gave us the amazing Do You Dare. As for the song in question it’s one of my favourites from Let's Get To It so I’m a little disappointed to see it leave too soon.
I'm truly gutted about this next one, but also not surprised after years of reading the slating on here...

@Andsov - 10 This is such a beautiful moment in Kylie's discography. It doesn't ruin the flow of Light Years for me, I've always seen it as a breather. Seeing Kylie perform it on the Anti Tour was a highlight. I wish it wasn't as sugary towards the end.
@Epic Chocolat - 8.5 Lovely
@CasperFan - 7.5 In its own right a beautifully sung song but out of place on the album.
@M24 - 6 I love those strings. It's a cute ballad, I don't hate it at all.
@Ugly Beauty - 6 I like her vocals here.
@nanafan - 4.5 The low point of the album. Why put this on when the sensational Paper dolls was just there.
@MrJames - 3 - It’s nice and everything but just really doesn’t suit the album tone.
@mrdonut - 1 if only they had put Ocean Blue on the album instead (that by the way is one of Kylie’s most hurtfully ignored gems). Shockingly dull.

I scored this an 8 as it’s a beautifully touching heartfelt song I like to imagine a performance like Somewhere Over The Rainbow and Come Into My World from Showgirl for Bittersweet Goodbye.
I love Bittersweet Goodbye. I think she sounds amazing on it. This is the first song that I think has gone too soon.
True, and yet I'd still have it last another 10-15 cuts.

Light Years is perhaps now my favourite Kylie album of all time, especially this time of year where it's an amazing Spring and Summer soundtrack. But, Bittersweet Goodbye, just spoils the flow.

Yeah, if people are coming for Loveboat then Your Disco Needs You can't be far from their lips and that's all just wrong.
Light Years is basically the soundtrack to a gay cruise. And that's not a good thing in my eyes.
