Wow I had no idea Heart Beat Rock was so hated around these parts... the beat is insane and makes the entire song. This is out before Cosmic and Nu-Di-Ty (which I actually like but I always thought that was one of the most divisive X tracks)?

The absolute correct first X cut (though earlier than I'd have thought). I would like to see a handful of Golden tracks go next, but won't say which for fear of banishment.

I saw the art for "Still Feels Like The First Time" before I read any of the text and thought that "Devotion" had been eliminated and y'all were about to feel my wrath. I am a little disappointed that "Still Feels Like The First Time" didn't do a little better though.
I'm not sure what she was trying to do in this one, I'm not here for it tbh.
If I remember correctly, this was Kylie channelling Uffie. And it low-key slaps, although I do prefer the Benny Blanco mix.

They better keep Nu-Di-Ty in for a while or I will riot ... if I could've done 11s for each album that would be it
I know that taste is subjective, but "Nu-Di-Ty" would be your 11 off of X?! Yikes. And this is coming from someone who low-key enjoys "Nu-Di-Ty."

A lot to catch up on! Let's see... Give Me Just a Little More Time is one of my favorite PWL songs, I think it was really done dirty here (as most other tracks from the era). I don't understand how anyone could rate the title tracks of Enjoy Yourself and Rhythm of Love over that bop!

Anyway, Bittersweet Goodbye deserved to hang around a bit more (I live for those strings as someone else said), as I feel like there are worse down-tempo songs left. Proud to be the lowest scorer of I Wish It Could Be Christmas Every Day though, as I think the song is awful and poor Kylie can't make it any better.

Lastly, Low Blow leaving already is a blow for me, it's a lot of fun even if it's silly!! And I guess I could say the same of Heart Beat Rock, even if I don't like it that much... simply because as the rest of you have been saying, Cosmic is still here.

I really like Heart Beat Rock. It's not a song I listen to regularly, but I enjoy it when it comes up on the shuffle. Nu-Di-Ty, on the other hand, is one of my favorites on X.

I Was Gonna Cancel 5.93

Highest Score: 10 x 3 @SlowGinFizzzz, @Reboot, @The Hot Rock
Lowest Score: 0 x 2 @SinceYouTookYourPopAway, @Untouchable Ace

@Ugly Beauty - 8.5 I never understood why this is unloved here, is it because of Pharrell Williams producing it?
@Andsov - 6 I Was Gonna Cancel has a lot going for it. It's quite cool, and I like the rawness in her voice. But it lacks something to lift it from average.

@Verandi - 6 …the single release. Yes. Million Miles was right there.
@M24 - 6 I appreciate how Kylie went with something different here. Sadly I don't think I love the final product, though it's decent. The bells and then that post chorus are a bit weird for me. Also, that MV triggers my social anxiety.
@hawkings24 - 5 Bitch, she should have cancelled, I just do not like this song at all, it was a DISASTER and should not have been on the album, let alone a single. Pharrell's curse I fear.

@mrdonut - 5 Moto Blanco’s remix makes this much more bearable. I totally see where everyone was going with this but the lyrics don’t convince at all and you can hear in her voice she’s been crying. It really bothers me that out of all the Kylie songs to have as a lip sync (imagine On a Night Like This or Slow), Ru chose this.
@CasperFan - 3 Ugh!

@nanafan - 1 Abysmal. Shouldn’t have been a single and was promoted purely due to the producer. Least said about the video the better
@Untouchable Ace - 0 I generally don't like Pharrell anyway, so when I found out he made this... and that was the reason it was being pushes as a single. On top of that we have the hideous video.

.

I Was Gonna Cancel is not great but it's still less perfunctory than 90% of the PWL tracks. I blame the demo-ish production and the video for making people hate it even more.
