Love 5.99

Highest Score: 9 x 1 @hawkings24
Lowest Score: 1 x 1 @OSHi

@hawkings24 - 9 I know I'm one of the few who really loves this song but it's just so nice!
@nanafan - 8 Euphoric track. Very singalong
@mrdonut - 7.5 Yes, it’s very Florence and the Machine-lite but what a burst of sunshine, especially that post-chorus.
@Maki - 7 Very summery, catchy and nice. Gosh... how many times have I said 'nice' in the commentary for this album.
@M24 - 5 Cute album track. We're approaching filler territory but not there yet, I'd say.
@Untouchable Ace - 4.5 Needs editing.

Love is one of my favourites from Golden but I know you're all tasteless and would tank it ... that being said, One Last Kiss and Sincerely Yours should have gone before this

"After Dark" received a 6 form me, which is one of the lowest scores from "Body Language", so this is a great cut at this point.
Not a bad song, and it flows nicely, but the melody does absolutely nothing to me. The middle-8 kind of does something, although it still remains a filler-ish and a completely inessential track from that album. It just feels... empty. An underwhelming closer.

Now that @Petit nain des Îles mentioned it, I actually agree that "After Dark" has quite some acid jazz elements. Didn't notice that earlier.

I didn't expect "Love" to be among the first eliminations from "Golden". It's very cute and could've stayed a bit longer, but isn't a loss for me (and the 7 I gave it feels a bit too generous, looking back).

Love has some great elements to it, however some of the lyrics let it down, as do the grating vocals towards the end of the verses. Could’ve been an amazing track with a bit of a tweak here and there.

I suspect the four people who gave it a 10 (including me) would disagree with you on that one.
There are people who prefer "Love At First Sight" (1988) over "Love At First Sight" (2001)?!
It's a strange choice for an album closer though, especially when a song like Loving Days came right before it.
"Slo Motion" should've been on the standard edition of Body Language as the album's closer.

At Christmas 6

Highest Score: 10 x 2 @WhatKindOfKylie?, @Markus1981
Lowest Score: 2 x 1 @Jacques

@Maki - 8.5 I can't help but smile when that chorus comes on. It's such a precious song.
@nanafan - 8 I like this a lot but it’s not as good as some of the tracks on the first issue of the album.
@M24 - 6 It's a cute bop! First original song I listen to from this album and I really like it. That chorus has a very pretty melody.

At Christmas is one of those songs that’s soooo much better live than recorded. The studio vocals aren’t well produced (recorded in a hotel room if I remember rightly? You can tell) and the music could be a bit richer, but it is a nice song.

Count The Days 6.01

Highest Score: 10 x 3 @WhatKindOfKylie?, @abael, @Gnuh Gnuh
Lowest Score: 0 x 1 @KingBruno

@nanafan - 7.5 A bit of filler here. Not a bad record but lost amongst the other classics on this album.
@MrJames - 7.5 - Sort of has a Janet Jackson vibe to it?
@CasperFan - 7.5 I like the addition of non-SAW songs to the album as they give a different feel-this is cute.
@Andsov - 7 As much as I like Count the Days and Rhythm of Love, I have to admit they are weaker than the PWL-tracks.

@Maki - 6.5 I keep forgetting how this one goes, even though it's cute while I'm listening to it. The verses are very bland. Luckily, the middle-8 took me off guard and made me bump its score - it's very much needed at this point and has such a cool vibe.
@mrdonut - 6 Middling
@M24 - 3.5 This is a bit fillerish? I appreciate the sentiment in the lyrics, it's cute, but the song just drags too long with nothing too memorable.
@Holly Something - 3 Sounds like a Holiday ripoff.
