Highest Score: 10 x 2 @WhatKindOfKylie?, @Markus1981
Lowest Score: 2 x 1 @Jacques

@Maki - 8.5 I can't help but smile when that chorus comes on. It's such a precious song.
@nanafan - 8 I like this a lot but it’s not as good as some of the tracks on the first issue of the album.
@M24 - 6 It's a cute bop! First original song I listen to from this album and I really like it. That chorus has a very pretty melody.

.

That cover is brilliant

I don’t get the whole bashing the fact that some songs have gone and some are still in. Is this gonna happen all through the rate? The songs are where they are - can’t we just discuss them and our thoughts and memories about them. It just gets dull and repetitive reading the same comments over and over.

Is this your first rate? It's all just playful banter. I do feel like there's a tonal clash in this one though, like many jokes fall on deaf ears while others take everything way too seriously, which suck all the fun out of it. It's the first rate I've been a part of where this is noticeable, and this is why I don't engage that much despite Kylie being one of my favorite artists.

I think people forget how important a personal song Count The Days was at the time. She was with Michael Hutchence at this point and this song was written about them often living apart due to their respective careers. Personally I think it's an underrated highlight from Rhythm Of Love, that album is SO strong however, I can deal and fully understand this being the first of it to leave.

I thought The World Still Turns had already gone out and I'm actually Shocked (DNA 7" Mix) to learn Count the Days has gone out first! That whole album is so strong and even the songs that are borderline filler are stronger than most of her PWL output
For a split second, I thought you were asking for Shocked to be eliminated and I was ready to start swinging.

Aw... "At Christmas" is an adorable song and I don't get how it's out so early. It's my highest score out of the Chrostmas songs I've rated. Perhaps the production was an issue for some, but it definitely deserved much more.

And I was literally about to say how "Rhythm of Love" not losing any songs is a bit unfair.
"Count the Days" is one of my least favourite songs form the album and a good elimination. Like I've said, the middle-8 gives it a bit more oomph, but it's still on the filler-ish side.
"The World Still Turns" and "Secrets" should be the next two to leave from that album.

Maybe I'm in the minority, but "One Boy Girl" is one of the worst tracks on Rhythm Of Love, in my opinion.

If we do lose more cuts from Rhythm Of Love before the Top 100, I wouldn't mind losing "One Boy Girl" and "The World Still Turns."

@hawkings24 - 8 The campness of this song used to be borderline offensive to me but it's such a fun song. It's cheesy no doubt but I love it.
@nanafan - 7 Sixties Kylie. Works well
@Andsov - 6.5 I could never decide wether this is cool or naff, which in itself is quite cool.
@M24 - 4 I bop in basic-ness. A little. Maybe shamefully.
@mrdonut - 4 20 years on and I’m still waiting for this to click.
