Well, good riddance to Koocachoo.
The betrayal... I'll never forget this!Aw... "At Christmas" is an adorable song and I don't get how it's out so early. It's my highest score out of the Chrostmas songs I've rated. Perhaps the production was an issue for some, but it definitely deserved much more.
And I was literally about to say how "Rhythm of Love" not losing any songs is a bit unfair.
"Count the Days" is one of my least favourite songs form the album and a good elimination. Like I've said, the middle-8 gives it a bit more oomph, but it's still on the filler-ish side.
"The World Still Turns" and "Secrets" should be the next two to leave from that album.
No."Someday"
Sure, why not?"The Loco-Motion"
Cosmic 6.08
Highest Score: 10 x 3 @WhatKindOfKylie?, @clowezra, @Remorque
Lowest Score: 2 x 3 @nanafan, @abael, @Gnuh Gnuh
@MrJames - 6.5 Nice enough song, nice meaning.
@Andsov - 6 I love the sentiment of this song, even if she did it so much better with Jump. The verses are great. Kylie's vocals are good too. But the chorus is a let-down, over-produced and pompous.
@Verandi - 6 Yeah no thanks.
@hawkings24 - 5 Snoozefest
@Hudweiser 4.5 - Jazz Lounge Kylie isn't really doing it for me
@Untouchable Ace - 3 She put this on the album because it was about her Cancer battle but it's not good enough compared to the mountains that didn't make the main cut.
@mrdonut - 2.5 Wish I loved this because of where she was coming from at the time but it just falls so flat.
@M24 - 2.5 Feels misplaced sonically in this album. It's not catchy either, so I don't know why it was included.
@nanafan - 2 Suffers due to production and the cheesy but personal lyrics. More orchestration would have helped but Stars and No More Rain deal with the subject matter better.
.
I will NEVER understand the bizarre indifference this song receives
As with 'I Was Gonna Cancel' and also explained in my commentary for 'Cosmic' my ambivalence stems from their context within their parent album and it's era.I don't get the hatred towards "Cosmic".
