Just a quick catch-up after being offline for two days.

'Love' got 6. Not bad but the lyrics grate and the vocal production is muddy.

First time listening to 'At Christmas' and it's an enjoyable 60's pastiche.

'Count the days' got 6.5. Just average but the chorus is great.

'Koocachoo' got 8. I used to dislike it but it's grown on me over the years. Love doing a little shoulder shimmy to those fast drums. The bass is great as is the wobbly Austin Powers breakdown.

'Cosmic' got 4. Has nice strings but it's a bit boring and some of the vocals are irritating.

'Someday' got 6. This one has a nice relaxed groove and would be one of the best on the album, but the male vocal ruins it like Elton ruins 'Sine From Above.'

'This Wheel's On Fire' got 5. Never a fan of this song but prefer original version.

Cosmic - 7 It’s decent in its britpop balladness, but kind of a jarring and weak closer.

Someday - 8.5 It’s so disorienting and weird I tend to not revisit it often, yet I feel overwhelmed when I do. Underrated album track? Didn't know Emiliana Torrini was part of it, which now makes perfect sense as it sounds right out of Love in the Time of Science.

Dancefloor 6.11

Highest Score: 10 x 3 @Ugly Beauty, @abael, @SophiaSophia
Lowest Score: 1 x 1 @Andsov

@hawkings24 - 9 It's a bop but I feel like it's a bit cliché.
@nanafan - 7 Filler showing the album was thrown together quickly but an OK pop track.
@M24 - 7 Simple bop, I don't have much to say other than it's pretty good.
@mrdonut - 2.5 Nasty vocal treatment and a basic chorus make this one a stinker.
@Andsov - 1 Is this Barbie? Embarrassing.

I'm very surprised that "Fever" isn't the last album to lose a track.
"Kylie Minogue", "Impossible Princess" and "Aphrodite" all have at least one song I would've preferred to see leave before "Dancefloor".

"Dancefloor" is my least favourite song from "Fever", yet it still received a 7 from me, which only justifies the quality and how consistent the album is. I really like the production (the intro was very promising) and how feel-good and carefree the song is, but it's missing something and comes off as weak compared to the other songs from the album, especially for something that was co-written by Cathy Dennis.
Not a loss, although a quite unexpected exit.

Whilst I’m glad the results are a bit more varied over the years at the moment but this shouldn’t mean me losing 10s that are more deserving of going further to some earlier and very recent songs that should leave. The real duds on Fever are Give It To Me and Your Love not Dancefloor.

I'm not a huge fan of Dancefloor, I think other b-sides would have been a much better fit (Rendezvous At Sunset for example).
That artwork is absolutely amazing though!
