@Maki- 8 I've listened to the original and am impressed by how they managed to change it I'm not keen on the spoken verses, but there's something extremely charming about this track. The second part of the song is absolutely lovely. Those 'falling in love with you' bits are gorgeous. And I think that this song sounds a bit ahead of its time. A standout in a way.
@Andsov - 7.5 I was obsessed with Falling the first few months, but I think I tired of it and it just never recovered. Still good though.

@M24 - 7 It's grown on me, I didn't appreciate it much on the first listens. Much like the rest of the album, it's very atmospheric. A tad too long, but with a radio edit it could've been a great single.
@mrdonut - 6.5 Not terrible but not an album highlight.
@Holly Something - 5.5 This sounds quite... wannabe Madonna to me.
@nanafan - 5 Filler. Didn't work as the pop style PSB Demo or as this dance track. Too long. I don't hate it but makes the second half of the album drag

@Sprockrooster - 3 Not two dragging tracks back to back. Time will not pass me by quickly.
@CasperFan - 3 Kylie + Pet Shop Boys should be epic on a I’m Not Scared level but this just isn’t. Again it goes on and on and on without any decent melody and the background vocals overpowering it. A mess of a song!

Fragile is literally the best album track on Fever alongside the title track! Everything else is pretty generic to me. Fever is one of my least favourite Kylie albums outside of the singles.

Nu-di-ty is my biggest lost so far - I love the warped production on that one and definitely think it matches the greatness of it's sister Speakerphone

And absolutely agree about Fragile being a highlight on Fever. The pizzicatto gives me Enya 2000 vibes.

The original PSB demo of Falling is nothing like the eventual song bar the lyrics, they completely changed the tune. Did the PSB ever comment on the difference? I actually prefer the Kylie version to the original personally.

"Falling" before "Time Will Pass You By"? What are y'all doing?!

I'll give you the other two, but "Burning Up" is a great little bop, although that may be because I really liked its performance during KYLIEFEVER2002.

Dancefloor before something like Fragile, interesting.

"Dancefloor" is an average throwaway bop, whereas "Fragile" is a lovely little mid-tempo moment.

I'm not a huge fan of Dancefloor, I think other b-sides would have been a much better fit.

I probably would've replaced "Dancefloor" with either "Tightrope" or "Whenever You Feel Like It."

Falling is... exquisite. I would have given it a ten, but I gave it a 9.5, because as much as I love staying adrift in its glorious lush production, it doesn’t wholly justify its long runtime.

Thank god Falling has gone-hopefully Where Has The Tune Gone will follow swiftly! KM94 is her most over rated album-she sounds gorgeous but some of those songs that just don't know when to end....

"Falling" definitely isn't the weakest song from "Kylie Minogue". It's in my top 5 from that album, actually. Surprised how "Time Will Pass You By" didn't leave before it. I can see how some of the voters were bored by its long remix vibe going on (the same goes for "Where Has the Love Gone?", which I enjoy equally), but at least it has a dreamy feel, atmospheric production and some lovely melodies to back it up.
Funny how Pet Shop Boys wrote their version of the song with PWL Kylie in mind. Glad that they transformed it, and Kylie switched her style, of course.

I'm listening to "Erotica" right now and "Falling" pretty much sounds like an outtake from it.
