Happy that "Chasing Ghosts " is finally out - definitely the weakest out of the songs from both Garibay EPs.
It was among my few sub-6 scores and should've been eliminated earlier. It's not a disaster, but her voice is annoying, the melody is clunky and the production is not good, either. And this is coming from someone who usually enjoys the reggae/ska influenced songs. Oh, and whatever is going on with that feature vocalist. It's more like a Kylie feature, since she only sings about half of the time.
Can't believe it outlasted so many well-crafted songs.

Listening to it now, the demo is better, but I think my score of 5.5 was way too generous anyway.

Live And Learn 6.2

Highest Score: 10 x 2 @WhatKindOfKylie?, @Andsov
Lowest Score: 1 x 1 @SlowGinFizzzz

@Andsov - 10 Part of the holy trinity of Lets Get to It for me. I find it genuinely uplifting.
@nanafan - 9.5 Strong album track. Let's Get To It get's unfairly written off but it's a good album I go back to regularly.
@Maki- 7.5 The 'saving grace' of the second half of "Let's Get to It". Nothing spectacular, but I find the production and melody much stronger than the majority of the album. Some moments are rather delightful, such as the pre-chorus and chorus combo. It's a very pretty and enjoyable tune.
@mrdonut - 7 Brilliant bridges, lovely bridges.
@M24 - 4 The lyrics are the best part of this song.

I gave both songs an 8, Live and Learn is a song I find so uplifting and I think deserves so much higher but I suppose with it being all three eras in one it was bound to be out before the top 100; Chasing Ghosts I would have anticipated leaving around now, but it's not too much of a loss.

Time to say goodbye to Especially For You and The Loco-Motion right about now I think

"Live and Learn" is a very pleasant and catchy song, I don't get why it's disliked by some. It's like a more delightful piece of PWL Kylie (her first three albums), although not among my faves. Should've outlasted "Right Here, Right Now", which is pretty good, too, so I can't see that one staying long, either.
If "Live and Learn" had appeared on "Rhythm of Love", I'm sure if would've certainly done much better.
I think it suffered mostly due to being on "Let's Get to It", which isn't really fair.

"The Loco-Motion" and "Especially for You" are still lingering? Get them out.

Too Much Of A Good Thing 6.23

Highest Score: 10 x 3 @WhatKindOfKylie?, @Andsov, @Robert
Lowest Score: 2 x 1 @SlowGinFizzzz

@Andsov - 10 I love how it sounds like a gang bang.
@Maki - 9 So effortlessly cool. No matter how much of its time this sounds, this is such a tune and definitely an album standout. The sample works so well, too. I love how they 'drowned out' Kylie's vocals, so it sounds like a song is sung by a group. While the verses could've been slightly stronger, the chorus is pretty much amazing. I still don't know exactly why, but the cool factor of this song had me sold.

@M24 - 8.5 Woo, I love the beat in this, Kylie's panting, and that chorus! I would've made it a single, but then I have shitty taste so what do I know?
@nanafan - 7.5 Kylie's vocal is a bit lost in the mix I think. A good track that shows more progression with SAW

@mrdonut - 7 I’m bopping
@Verandi - 4 Surely she's not talking about her first four albums?
@Sprockrooster - 4 Let me listen to Control instead.

"Too Much Of A Good Thing" is definitely one of the better tracks from Let's Get To It, so I'm surprised to see it go so soon.

If it were up to me, the Let's Get To It singles campaign would've been:
• "Too Much Of A Good Thing,"
• "Right Here, Right Now,"
• "Finer Feelings (Brothers In Rhythm Mix),"
• "Closer."

No... "Too Much Of A Good Thing" is easily the highlight of "Let's Get to It" and deserved much more.
It's definitely among my top 3 songs from that album (but now I see it almost managed to get into the actual top 3, given how the album was culled). Should've been a single, actually.

I'm surprised that "Right Here, Right Now" managed to reach the top 3 of "Let's Get to It". It should've left before "Too Much Of A Good Thing" for sure, if we're looking at that album.
Not to mention tons of other songs that unfairly outlasted this overlooked gem.

Right Here, Right Now is Parlophone Kylie 9 years before Parlophone Kylie existed.

Surprised Too Much of A Good Thing is out so soon. It really is one of the better tracks on the album and much better than some of the stuff still in the rate imo
