@Holly Something - 10 A classic beautiful duet, nothing less than a 10.
@M24 - 9 I adore this one!! There's not a moment in the song that lets it down. It's everything an 80s love song should be: sweet but bop-able. Even the guy is pretty good too: love the way he belts out "forget the loneliness and the sorrow!" before the chorus.
@nanafan - 9 A classic. Who doesn’t like this singalong?

@Ugly Beauty - 9 First time actually listening to this and I didn't think I would like it dddd it's a cute and harmless late 80s ballad.
@Hudweiser - 6.5 Always a bit too twee.
@Maki - 6.5 Started really nicely with those backing vocals, but then turned into a sappy ballad. I can't be harsh on it, since it's a really cute song.
@CasperFan - 6 Not one I particularly like listening to now, loved it at the time and enjoy it for nostalgia reasons but not a huge fan. I do however love it in concert (though wasn’t necessary at Golden) should only be performed at Greatest Hits tours or Kylie Christmas concerts.

Especially For You.....is cute ddddd, I gave it a 9 because I never heard it in full before this rate and I actually enjoyed(get it?) listening to it. It's iconic and deserved to be such a hit but I'm glad Can't Get You Out Of My Head dethroned it as Kylie's 'biggest' hit.

Now looking at it, "Especially for You" bombed in a similar fashion in the previous rate - it received thirteen 10's!!
Don't know why it's so divisive (apart from that it's a PWL track), but it left just before overstaying its welcome. I'm not really keen on it, although it's cute for what it is.


And I didn't even bother listening to that Christmas song that just left. There's too many of them...


This is a nice day for me when it comes to the eliminations. I only lost 12.5 points in total, which might be a record low so far.
