Ooooh let's take it right back...
@Sprockrooster - 11 It feels weird to hand out an 11 to a cover, but honestly Kylie made this famous from me. When I started getting into pop in the zeroes, Kylie was a high priestess for me and this track was an easy treasure from her then past days. Easy to connect with and consequently a staple till this very day.
@M24 - 9 I don't care if the lyrics are cheesy, it makes you want to do the locomotion indeed! It's not quite as euphoric as Madonna's similar groove dance tracks in "Madonna" (1983), so I don't give it a ten, but still give it a 9. Haters gonna hate.
@Verandi - 7.5 It's strange how the fanbase generally hates this, considering it sounds less dated than most of the PWL stuff.
@nanafan - 7 The SAW version is a massive improvement on the Oz original and the single remix is much better than the album version but I often skip it now.
@mrdonut - 7 I only really want the Golden/Glasto version of this song going forward. Can we have a studio recording please?
@hawkings24 - 7 I wouldn't choose to listen to this out of her discography, but when she did the disco version on the Golden Tour I just adored it, and that was a point at which I was tired of hearing it on tour, especially the Abbey Road version *eye roll*
@Ugly Beauty - 7 Decent cover.
@CasperFan - 7 SAW did an amazing job of reinventing a classic and Kylie has made this song her own. Always love the different live versions-toot toot!
@Maki - 5.5 Meh... I don't really like this cover. The song itself never did anything to me, and this one is one of the weakest renditions I've heard. It has good bits, but is way too repetitive and screechy at times, which can get quite annoying. My least favourite song from her debut.
@Andsov - 2 Incredible live performances over the years, but on record it remains a joyless mess.
