Mess.
"Through the Years" is one of the (many) highlights from "Impossible Princess". It's so disappointing to see it leave as the first track from her best album, especially after hoping it grew on some since the previous rate, where it suffered the same fate.
I gave it a 9 and agree that it absolutely deserved to reach top 100, at the very least. It stands out because of the obvious jazz influences and even comes off as a bit experimental. I can understand how some aren't keen on it, but there's something moody about it that I love.
Even the (good) non-event that is "I Don't Need Anyone" should've easily left before it, let alone tons of songs from other albums etc.

And I'll remain bitter that "Impossible Princess" didn't end up as the last album to lose a track.

Right Here Right Now 6.62

Highest Score: 10 x 4 @WhatKindOfKylie?, @Andsov, @Ugly Beauty, @Ana Raquel
Lowest Score: 3 x 2 @SlowGinFizzzz, @unnameable

@Ugly Beauty - 10 The best song on this shitty album.
@Andsov - 10 The I'm Over Dreaming (Over You) of Let's Get To It. A juggernaut, criminally overlooked as a single.
@nanafan - 9 Another good album track and a funky one. Great Extended Version of this one too.

@Maki - 7 This sounds like it could've appeared on "Rhythm of Love". Very dancey and melodic, with some great bits (notably the chorus). It's a good song, but I don't have anything in particular to latch onto.
@mrdonut - 6 Would rather listen to Too Blind To See It but it’s fine.
@M24 - 5.5 I feel like this could be a grower. Right now it's not doing much for me.

I won't miss Right Here Right Now or Through The Years, but wow - I had never heard the original version of One Last Kiss. I couldn't wrap my head around not liking a Kylie/Biff track, but it just did absolutely nothing for me. The original production makes a huge difference and sounds like it would have been a total moment. Another reason to consider Golden a misstep production-wise.

The only good Taio Cruz songs were Dynamite and Break Your Heart. And even they aged faster than milk left out in the sun.

Kylie and Enjoy Yourself (and the album that was somehow attached to my Finer Feelings CD) should've left in their entirety before even touching any Parlophone stuff, let alone Deconstruction material.

Kylie PWL isn’t my everything at all but I just don’t get the blanket refusal to appreciate anything from those two albums from the off. On a pop music forum. It just feels very....Q magazine.

While the production can feel repetitive and reductive in 2020 I guess, I can’t be convinced that there aren’t flourishes of great pop songwriting underneath it. Give me the juxtaposition of joy and vulnerability on Hand on Your Heart or Enjoy Yourself (title track)’s rush of euphoria versus the laziness and calculation of Dancefloor any day. Parlophone gave us some massive highs but let’s not forget the massive massive lows.

I don’t think any of the stuff from the PWL era that’s been cut so far has been Top 100 material by any means, so I have no real issues with the elimination order so far.

Through The Years is one of the weaker songs on Impossible Princess but it’s a bit too soon for it to bow out now.

We could stand to lose some of the remaining dredges of the Parlophone era (Better Than Today, Higher, some more Golden and Kiss Me Once tracks).

Those last two hurt a bit. I always used to skip Through The Years but lately I've just found it to be an unreal little song. Right Here, Right Now is a bop and I find it to be Fever before Fever came out.

Would like to see the back of Better Than Today now

"Right Here Right Now" honestly should've been the lead single from Let's Get To It; it would've been the perfect bridging single from the Rhythm Of Love campaign into the Let's Get To It campaign.
Even the (good) non-event that is "I Don't Need Anyone" should've easily left before it, let alone tons of songs from other albums etc.
I am surprised that "I Don't Need Anyone" wasn't the first elimination from Impossible Princess as well, although I do recall a few people coming to its defense when I dragged it in Kylie's general thread, so it must be more popular than I realized.
In a just world, either this or Light Years or Body Language would be the last intact album. Aphrodite does not deserve.
"Better Than Today" can vacate immediately.

Wait... a 0 for a song you find to be "just ok"?????

Ddddd I left the cell blank on Excel by mistake when rescaling everything... I tried to send an inbox to our host the other day when I realized that, I guess it was too late to change it. I would've given it a 6. Don't think it would've changed much anyway, but I'm sorry everyone for my stupid mistake xD. Thankfully there are not any more of them, as far as I can tell.
