How was she eligible for A Star Is Born for 2 separate years?
I think 'Shallow' was released when it was still eligible for the 61st Grammys (from October 1st, 2017 to September 30th 2018, and it was released on September 27th). The full soundtrack was released on October the 5th, thus being eligible for this year's Grammys. The mind of a mastermind.

Which is funny, because the popular thought at the time was that it was actually a poor idea in relation to the Grammys, as it would be "forgotten" by now. We really had no clue how big this was gonna be for her.
And that it couldnt compete against The Lion King... dddd
