Go gently into the night, friend. You were a mega-bop and you deserved better than R. fucking Kelly.
If you’re that desperate to listen to it just illegally download it?Go gently into the night, friend. You were a mega-bop and you desrved better than R. fucking Kelly.
It's not really about me listening to it, it's that the song deserved better than being unceremoniously deleted from existence as I genuinely think it's a discography highlight. Obviously not now, as this was the only reasonable course of action, but back then.If you’re that desperate to listen to it just illegally download it?
Can people coming in to ask for the Xtina version to replace it freaking read the thread before posting?
All the versions give him royalties, thus why they are all being removed.
Channel 4 is going to broadcast Leaving Neverland, a similar documentary about Michael Jackson. Harrowing stuff, apparently.
It kind of makes me sad, I loved that song back in 2013 and now it’s completely tainted. I’m glad the situation has been dealt with at last, because I don’t agree with Gaga working with him in the first place, but if there was some way they could just replace the version.

It also upsets me to see Jewels and Drugz is still there too.
No the Xtina version is still there. She removed both versions? I guess she's not willing to give him any coins anymore!
The writing was on the wall from this sentence. On top of Kelly getting credits on all versions of the song, she seems to be stepping away from the song as a whole with this part of the statement, so there was never really any chance the solo version was going to replace it.The song is called "Do What U Want (With My Body)", I think it's clear how explicitly twisted my thinking was at the time.
I guess they won't ask Celine to comment/apologize for her duet with him back in 1999 since his first highly publicized trial for child pornography happened in like 2002-2003?
I guess people who worked with him afterwards have to?
