If R. Kelly really believes he can fly, he should find a skyscraper and fucking jump. Gaga has dealt with this with the highest possible grace and dignity. Some people, cunts mainly, will gorge themselves on using this song to beat the shit out of her, but she actually admitted her faults and fully acknowledged her blunders, which is more than lot of other Kelly collaborators. What else do they (her critics) want? Bullets and bricks? Gaga could have remained silent until after The Oscars. This was the best thing she could do in the circumstances.

It's not really about me listening to it, it's that the song deserved better than being unceremoniously deleted from existence as I genuinely think it's a discography highlight. Obviously not now, as this was the only reasonable course of action, but back then.

I blame Tara.

I’d argue these are very different cases. Michael is very much a grey area (in many people’s opinion, including mine), whereas with R Kelly it is far more clear and blatant that he is guilty of his crimes.

I guess it’s down to what you believe personally with Michael though.

It kind of makes me sad, I loved that song back in 2013 and now it’s completely tainted. I’m glad the situation has been dealt with at last, because I don’t agree with Gaga working with him in the first place, but if there was some way they could just replace the version.
It also upsets me to see Jewels and Drugz is still there too.

The song is called "Do What U Want (With My Body)", I think it's clear how explicitly twisted my thinking was at the time.

The writing was on the wall from this sentence. On top of Kelly getting credits on all versions of the song, she seems to be stepping away from the song as a whole with this part of the statement, so there was never really any chance the solo version was going to replace it.

I guess they won't ask Celine Dion to comment or apologize for her duet with him back in 1999 since his first highly publicized trial for child pornography happened in like 2002-2003?

I guess people who worked with him afterwards have to?
