So I went to sleep last night just after DJ White Shadow's initial teasing tweet... I take back everything I said regarding the closure of this thread. RJF was right; seeing this thread at the top of the page after the months of waiting was the best thing I've been greeted to on PJ during my entire time here.

Guys, she's back.

See, THIS is how you do it.

If last week someone said to me "Lady Gaga's coming back soon" my response would be quite muted.... but with just a picture, some dates and the line "a 'rage' of electronic passion and fury" today I am buzzed up to the levels of 'The Fame Monster' release.

She knóws what we want... It's creepy how self-aware she is. Not too much teasing (except we knew of the title like a year ago, but I can forgive her for that) and than BÁM. Everything we need to know in óne announcement, INCLUDING a gorgeous picture in almost exactly the style we wanted (bright and clean). ARTPOP. GET READY FOR ARTPOP.

Also, has it been discussed that Mr. PJ himself has worked out that 'ARTPOP' preorders go live on the same day of the iTunes festival opening night, of which the act is yet to be announced?

It's also rumored to be day she puts out the video, which she's apparently supposed to shoot next week.

DJWS is the one who confirmed the video to be released that day. The dates on her site say that it is just for the pre-order, so who knows. If she's shooting it this coming week, then she could easily get it out by then.

This is incredibly fucking exciting!

The imagery is so different to what we've seen from her before, which is exactly what she needed. But it's still very fresh and futuristic. It's so near!

That press release is confusing as hell and I'm very intrigued as to what she has lined up. I'm thrilled she's working with Marina Abromovic - finally one of her idols who just "gets" her and isn't going to throw it back in her face. I'm not a huge fan of Jeff Koons, but the Warhol inspiration in his work obviously makes perfect sense. Perhaps he'll produce his best work for this. He's got a pretty damn good muse.

If the video hasn't been shot yet I doubt they know when they're releasing it. Though obviously I wouldn't say no to that kind of forethought!

Where's her twitter at? We still haven't heard from Gaga herself...

I'm really pleased that she seems to be heading back towards "Fashion-ga" - lots of clean, natural yet futuristic stuff. I hated all the "1987 goth witch" stuff from the last era.
