As much as i love Lady Gaga and her music i need a break from her. Can she just go on a freaking holiday and get out of my life for like a year!? Release your album in mid 2011.

Overexposure can mean people get bored of you, but at the same time if you have decent music I think you should get it out there as soon as possible and not hold onto it.

Well I hope her new soung isn't rockier stuff. Those songs were probably the worst in the Fame/Monster. Brown Eyes, Speechless, etc. I wouldn't mind if she went in a more urban/rnb/hip hop route but still with an electro twist.

I love Gaga so much, and I am really excited for this..but will she really be able to top TFM if she only has a bit of a year to work on this album properly (she's busy with her tour etc)..

I might prefer if she waited mid-2011. But of course if the material is amazing, I'll be super happy :)

I have a horrid feeling it would be more 'self-indulgent' - like her acoustic version of Poker Face or something.

Her label are going to let her do whatever she wants.

What Gaga needs to do in 2010 is:


1. Complete The Monster Ball Tour
2. Release Telephone, Alejandro & Dance in the Dark as singles.
3. TAKE A BREAK AND PUT HER FEET UP!

Seriously, she's so overworked as it is..

Release new music in 2011 please, when people begin to miss you in the charts.

I dunno. If the campaign for The Fame Monster is done by about early summer, she can come back November/December and I probably will have missed her.

Let's see how long she drags this out though. This is a very strange transition; she's either going to prove she's got longevity or she's just going to be a flash-in-the-pan artist, completely forgotten while the nation fawns over Marina and the Diamonds* and the new crop of artists this year.

She's had a massive beginning. Let's hope it can continue.

*HA! Just kidding.

she won't take a break unless something massively important in her personal life happens...she literally can't sit still. i worry about her, but i think i would worry more if i didn't hear from her for a while. touring/performing is her anti-drug.

I really hope she doesn't have a breakdown or anything. Her career is exhausting to watch so God knows what it must be like living it. But hey, if GaGa is totally fine with what she's doing then who are we to question her? If the new material's as good as her first 1.5 albums, yay!!!

In regards to a possible sound change, I hope she doesn't go too experimental yet. Like has already been said, I don't fancy a Pop/Rock-ish record like Brown Eyes... I'd be cool with a more Urban direction, though I predict the majority of PJ would hate the very idea so...

She has all the resources and success at her fingertips to do whatever the fuck she wants, which is all she's ever wanted as far as I can see, why would she stop? The woman genuinely thinks she's the new Bowie/Grace Jones, who released an album a year. There's no time for holidays.
