Chromatica is not a planet, it's a perspective.
Had a moment listening to it through last night. There's a lot of intricacies in the production, and while that element is probably the weakest aspect, it still has a lot to offer. 911 especially has tons of layers, the harmonies on Sine From Above are stunning, and I also love the slow build from Chromatica III.
Was definitely being too hard on the entire project initially. Nostalgia was captured throughout the album, but I do think having someone at the helm of the record that had a hand in earlier music may have been a solution. Like, DJ White Shadow creating the base product for others to assist with rather than Bloodpop. Maybe to others it doesn't sound "new" enough, but I think there would've been a different result had other eyes been on it.
Get that promo, Ms. Levesque.
I love how there’s so many themes of her being this person who’s gone through so much that it comes across that she may be damaged goods. That somehow her traumas have tainted her and she’s not good enough for love. Then to tackle her mental illness/PTSD and transform that into club music.
Babylon is just the gays at the Bathhaus in Chromatica and I live for every second of it.
Oh god this just reminded me, can someone please help me find that Number 1 Angel x Aqua megamix on Soundcloud? @Andy French
Give it to me sis I've been trying to rearrange it too but couldn't get it right.
I was bored and mocked up in Illustrator with the vinyl should've been:
The way this still slaps, whew.
I mean, she did say Chromatica wasn’t a planet. It’s not even necessarily a place. It’s just the world filtered through her view, which is how everything she’s produced in her career has been.
Ok yeah, the Free Woman demo>>>>> the album version.
Happy pride month!
Pop justice, deserved, etc. So happy to see both of them snatching a #1 together on such a great lil track.
First time since Fame that Gaga‘s second single actually goes No1.
It‘s also the first ever female duet to debut at No1.
Congrats to both ladies.
Is it really the first EVER female duet to go to #1?
Also, if I'm not mistaken, now Gaga has a #1 in 3 different decades so we definitely stan longevity.
No not the first to go No 1 but the first to debut there.
Also yes, Gaga now had No 1‘s in three decades.
First ever to debut at number one.
THis is one of the best things i've ever heard to be quite honest!!
Separate names with a comma.
