Lady Gaga - "Die With a Smile" (with Bruno Mars) + 7th Album

Honestly, with Die With A Smile smashing immediately before and the LG7 lead single coming immediately after I doubt she's that bothered about the film's performance. It does feel like at least for now music is the main focus.
I have doubts that she isn’t bothered about the film‘s performance? It’s a massive project and Gaga likes success. Saying she doesn’t care feels like we’re already preparing ourselves for a flop, which I doubt it will be. She didn’t do this movie and does what she does in Venice because she couldn’t care less about the Joker‘s performance.

Well, I'm not saying she doesn't care at all, but it's hardly her be-all and end-all considering she has plenty else going on right now/in the very near future. If it underperforms it's a shame but well, she literally has the biggest song in the world right now and LG7 is right around the corner, I doubt she'll be losing much sleep over it.

The photoshoot is really gorgeous, especially for US Vogue standards. The interview was also great and possibly her best in...forever. Something about it is giving me pre-Born This Way era but...I'm cautiously perched for now.

I am kinda surprised they are going with a relatively long rollout for the album though. Launching the lead in January would have been safer commercially speaking, but I fully believe the Halloween theories at this point.

Still such an iconic performance - the chorus vocals, the mic drop falling (more or less) to the beat, the fake blood in her eye... perfection! I know the performance had some pitch correction/autotune, this upload of it sounds a little... more tinny than I remember though?

Yeah at first I had "The audio sounds weird?" commentary dd. And what's weirder is: there's better audio in... whatever this is.

The audio on this is defitnely weird, her vocals have this annoying echo.
