The way you read that as a take on quality and not soundscapes.Girl, anything as good as the Waxahatchee song would be a DREAM.

Not she really coming dd
I’ll believe she’s coming when she comes.
This really is coming huh.
Cause guitars.
I kinda hate when people say this. I’m sure it’s true that some are guitar-phobic, but I just think a lot of Joanne is boring.Cause guitars.

Perfect Illusion, Dancin' In Circles and John Wayne are all great but that's where it ends for me dd
Chromatica is a potentially stellar album with weak production and even weaker visuals. Still I love the album. Joanne instead is just whateverHonestly, Chromatica’s weakness for me came from relatively flaccid production all around; the lyrics and melodies themselves were still pretty bulletproof to me. If the production this time has some more intention and heft to it, I can’t see how this won’t be fantastic.

I'd add Diamond Heart, Million Reasons and Joanne. That'd have made a nice EP.
The actual biggest crime is the way they stripped "Free Woman" of any originality for a plink-plonk Baby's First production on the chorus.Wait. Is Chromatica being badly produced really a thing?! I think it's such a stellar album, almost no skips, and I love the visuals. The only crime is Sour Candy not getting a proper music video with her and Blackpink in the same room. But even the weird visualiser we ended up getting looked pretty cool to me.
