I can’t help but wonder is being a jazz cover artist a lane that fully inspires her now? She seems so clued in for this project than Chromatica. I guess the litmus test will be when LG7 comes around. Don’t let the enthusiasm wane!

[/SPOILER]

Almost 300,000 tickets have been sold for her very expensive, limited seating Vegas residency doing exclusively jazz music.

It's interesting, not necessarily for me, The Joker is the one that stands out / the only one I'll probably revisit but I'm glad she's enjoying making music and excited to what she will bring to LG7.

The way I know Interscope Records is still calling her relentlessly with "Gagz pls it can be a digital exclusive" about Die With a Smile while she's ordering Michael's birthday cake.

Happy Mistake is amazing! There's at least 4 tracks that are great additions to her discography that I'll be using regularly. She really got us with the snippets but hey if they're baiting us like this at least they're aware that no one wants most of these songs but Gaga herself ddd

I will save Happy Mistake and never touch this again. It’s not bad it’s just not for me. Roll on October!

I can’t even get through each track in full, it literally embodies everything I dislike about her as an artist. However if its what gets anything of this ilk out her system, meaning she can lock into LG7 then I’m totally here for it and it’s an essential release.

I loved Cheek To Cheek as a teen (especially her solos) however I haven't been able to connect as much with Love For Sale and I don't think I'm really feeling this either.
I guess one day I'll listen to all three albums together and just cherrypick and compile something from them.

"Happy Mistake" is very much in the same lane as "Die With a Smile" no? It's a nice addition to her ballad discography on first few listens (with a... disconcerting amount of runaway GP hit potential). Can't say I'm exactly falling over myself to get to the rest but this seems like a cute side project all around.

he/him
My favorite Cheek to Cheek memory is that I had a client at my old job (tech support/going to peoples' houses to show them how to turn on their monitor) we had a client who was at least in his late 70s, filthy rich (had a picture of him with John McCain on his desk??), living in a penthouse in Old City Philadelphia. I was at his place one time (I made commission and I could waste hours doing literally nothing so he was my favorite client) and he had a stack of Tony Bennett CDs on his desk. In that pile? A CD with newspaper font featuring a woman with an 85 foot curly wig, otherwise known as Stefani Germanotta.

That album did what needed to be done, for better or worse.
