Lady Gaga - Mayhem

I'd easily put it at #2 in her discography now that I've played it nonstop for an entire week. This is the first time she has gotten this close to Born This Way for me, but the nostalgia and memories I have for that era are too strong to be dethroned this quickly. It has basically soundtracked my teenage years and will forever be (one of) my favorite record of all time. However, I can see Mayhem climbing to the top once the dust settles.

I'm just so glad that she delivered another magnum opus. I love all of the tracks and I'm still waking up with a new melody stuck in my head every day.

Its nice that it feels like her adult Born This Way in that it encapsulates everything that makes her great. It has a maturity, that inherently comes with a little less excitement than it's earlier sister project, but they feel cut from the same cloth.

Of course Mayhem is in another league, but I still do have some use for Chromatica. It's not a bad album, it's just not a very good Lady Gaga one dd

For me these are her ultimate top 3: Mayhem, Artpop and Born This Way. All so quintessentially her and brilliant albums.

Well, I'm afraid to say 'How Bad Do U Want Me' is the song most people I have played the album for, liked through and through. Out of 8, 7 mentioned it was the most memorable. Perhaps it is the pseudo-Only You sample that is memorable enough?
I've also found that more casual fans are calling out How Bad as their fave. It's not about the "sample" though, it's just big, explosive pop and people love that.
