Yeah, I like Blade of Grass as a song but that whiny vocal approach just kinda kills it for me unfortunately. I'm sure whenever she does it live (and hopefully sings it normally), it's going to effortlessly top the album version.
I feel the same way, the kind of droning throat-y belt is not my favorite. I prefer when she pulled it back a bit in older ballads like "Speechless".Yeah, I like Blade of Grass as a song but that whiny vocal approach just kinda kills it for me unfortunately. I'm pretty sure these were repressed. So I guess there is somewhat of a market.I mean, they're still finding dead stock of the "Stupid Love" and "Rain On Me" singles as well and trying to offload them. So maybe that's a better comparison. Either way, the point is if one thing isn't successful, it's unlikely a record label is going to waste resources on doing anything further for it.

My favorite thing she used to do with Pokerface! (at 1:37) - It turned into a growl and then quickly disappeared.Absolutely loved this Poker Face performance, but I do wish she would go back to adlibbing the little "I want you to Know Oh oh oh oh". She used to do that for a while.
She needs to bring back the Joanne World Tour final chorus key change! She needs to bring back the Jonathan Ross vocals for “Poker Face”
The only way Alejandro will be accepted on the tour setlist is if she brings back those vocals from CITI Field JWT.She needs to bring back the Joanne World Tour final chorus key change!
Shadow of a Man.
That’s it. That’s the message.
What a SONG.
High key bottom tier of the album for me sorry
Is Michael really into IT/programming or is this a running joke, "lol"?
I still expect that remix to kick in every time she finishes a Poker Face performance. She needs to bring back the Orange RockCorps dance break for “Poker Face”
