I feel the same way, the kind of droning throat-y belt is not my favorite. I prefer when she pulled it back a bit in older ballads like "Speechless".

I mean, they're still finding dead stock of the "Stupid Love" and "Rain On Me" singles as well and trying to offload them. So maybe that's a better comparison. Either way, the point is if one thing isn't successful, it's unlikely a record label is going to waste resources on doing anything further for it.
