Diamonds maybe if I squint. Nothing else on that list comes close.

I forgot about Stay though. That’s up there.

Some of the best songwriters in the game were rushing to write ballads for Rihanna. Gaga is not coming close. She ranks pretty low in that department. Just because she has the vocals does not make her ballads good (and I’d argue this is a factor that actually makes her forays into balladry worse because she’s unable to be truly emotive)

I actually don't think either Rih or Gorg are that great at ballads but these are classics and do blow Gaga's out of the water

Of course Rih is the not main creator behind these, but the point stands.

I mean, I think that list is stretching what qualifies as a ballad a tad. Like Rehab, Drunk On Love and Love Without Tragedy are all fantastic but I wouldn't call any of them ballads. She does have some good ones like Russian Roulette, but you also have stuff like Unfaithful, Take A Bow, California King Bed, Stupid In Love, Stay, those recent soundtrack ones, so... definitely a lot more misses than hits. Gaga might not have a huge amount of ballads, but I do think most of them are enjoyable, and at least about a handful are genuine classics.
