The whiplash between her wailing at the piano and (gods be willing) letting her freak flag fly over some industrial techno will only harm the new single. The GP can very rarely hold two versions of one person in mind at the same time (especially a woman).

I don’t think anything from this new album is going to register in the public consciousness beyond “Die With A Smile”, and I don’t mean that as a slight. But that song is just so massive that it’s going to overshadow anything she does anyway. Nothing is in danger of being harmed here.

I mean both Variety and Billboard confirmed that we’re getting the song and the music video during Grammy break. I know this is Gár we’re taking about but do we really think they’d change everything in a matter of days without any obvious reason? C’mon now. On the other hand a confirmation from her would be nice, that’s for sure.

It would be a gag tho if the tribute with Bruno would be short, then he’d leave, lights go out and then she just fucks us up with Abracadabra performance. I know this isn’t happening but let me daydream.

I truly love Gaga but her writing a song about how time is all you need to soar again following a climate disaster where whole communities have flattened is hilarious at best. She's looking to the crowd like it's such a slam dunk of a lyric and I just can't help feel embarrassed.
