Lowkey think a lot of the milking of merch during Chromatica was an attempt to make up for the fact that the artist was not present (and also to boost album sales, but Billboard have since stopped allowing bundles, so)

Can we just appreciate the production and mixing?! Everything just sounds pristine here. Perfect levels, clean, spacious, all the layers of vocals and melody... It's just a perfect example of Gaga getting it 100% right and, honestly, I'd wondered if she could get back here. It's so relieving that the answer is 'Yes'.

It's been a long, long, long time since I've had a Gaga song on repeat. And here we are. Sigh of relief.

Honestly I'm not a big fan of choreography-heavy music videos but this really is a great one. The way it's shot fits the dynamics of the song perfectly, the classic "Alejandro" and "Born This Way" type of set, the styling which translates really well on tape and Gaga is giving 100% in every aspect. You can just tell she's totally in her element and it's so pleasing to watch.
