Close enough, welcome back Daenerys Targaryen!
Additionally, as gratifying as it is to see all the success this week, it feels a little frustrating because none of this was beyond her at any moment. She's also never had a complete career implosion that Katy Perry would probably just class as a another Tuesday these days to justify such a bizarre route to this moment. Every single one of her solo pop albums are platinum. Every single one. A genuinely rare feat considering she started her career just as album sales properly collapsed... but it was the diminishing jazz returns that she apparently had to keep pushing for the sake of her career? There has always been a big audience for Lady Gaga being... Lady Gaga. I've said it before, but if there's anyone who was in a position to be within catching distance of the lofty heights Taylor and Beyoncé have reached, it's her.
I don't think I'm making my rather intangible point very well. But basically: love the single, it's an instant all-time best, I'm hopeful for the album, and I respect whatever fucking mental wellness journey she was on... but I also think that all of this has been lying on a table right next to her the whole time, and I can't believe we had to suffer so much nonsense (and so much dumb discourse rationalising the nonsense) to get here.
I also think she just loves being wifed up and taken care of by a big strong manly man who said her pop music was pretty good and he wouldn't mind if she did more, but we'll save that particular discourse for the autopsy when the album era is over in a month and a day, and lives on only by Coachella streams that get shot out the sky four seconds after upload.

Not a big fan of this song but this arrangement of it sounds not bad from the little we can hear in this clip.
As for Abracadabra I still can't stop watching the video. I think it's become my favourite Gaga video.

I still despise that song. I genuinely think it's one of the worst things she's ever recorded and I'm actually a big fan of her ballads.
Taking this with a pinch of salt but good news if so!
I imagine they may release them Friday? Though I guess bundles don't count anymore so maybe not.

Not being an add but why would bundles not counting any more effect a Friday release? Wouldn’t the purchase of each format individually still count?
