Not to get all stupid-sappy, but I'm glad she found a good one this time around. He seems so uncomfortable in the spotlight, yet still shows up to support her at events. I've noticed a couple of times where she is seemingly trying to reassure him/make sure he's okay whenever the camera pans to him. IDK man, she just deserves a guy like this. Good for her.

And if the music so far is any indication, he needs to stay.

And was pretty shook to realize it is actually outdoing Die With A Smile numbers. Then I learned that's because DWAS was released on a Friday and weekends are harder for new releases, and it properly blew up over the next Monday, but still, there are great numbers I never expected.

In all seriousness (I've had three iced teas today, please bear with me xx), and as someone who still feels fairly neutral about the song with Bruno, this is so satisfying as a fan. As much as I don't care about stan wars and as much as "Abracadabra" might end up not being as huge as "Die With A Smile" in the end, there was this narrative that she simply couldn't amass interest in herself as a solo pop star again, a narrative that this song has pretty much... squashed. And it just feels really good seeing her achieve this, because she has the talent for it and is far from that facet of her career diminishing if she doesn't want it to.

Now that I've had teriyaki noodles and a fish filet on top of the aforementioned three iced teas, I want to get back to this interaction real quick because I may love you, but I am not about to let you rewrite the narrative and assassinate my character like you've been trying to do lately. Nothing on my post above or imbued within my earnestly expressed optimism regarding this album negates or merits your rabid retaliation here, which I agree with. I have historically joined you in Gargoyle lashings when she's merited them, which has been a lot of times, I have whacked her even harder than you and I will do it again should the time for it come. We have fought "soft-brained" Gargoyle stans together. Don't use me as punching bag to feel better when she does something right and you miss lashing her ever again. Remember to @ me when you @ @mindtrappa as apparently your only fellow stan-turned-hater, because she has switched to a Gargoyle avatar and is stanning this song just the same. You should honestly be ashamed of yourself. You said recently on the BPG rate thread that you were "very rarely on my side" regarding Gargoyle when the only thing we have disagreed on slightly is the "Disease" music video.

Take your memory meds and remember that it will be me you will be walking down to meet at the aisle during the only satanic wedding you will ever have where "Die With A Smile" will be the opening bridal dance. Were the likes from the lackeys worth it when you know you've scorned the woman of your life? I will accept apologies in the shape of feet pics.

Disease slots well next to this? It's nowhere near as strong, or on the same level as a package, but it's solid. The quality of good to exceptional between what we've heard is... A solid enough scale to be optimistic when entering album release.
