If this tour does get filmed, I hope it’s recorded in a closed roof stadium. It looks SO much better in the dark. (Also hoping for lots of post production effects, but I know Madonna gets a lot of hate for that. Maybe that has more to do with the cuts/editing?)

Jonas akerlund’s edits give me a headache sometimes

I hate when live shows are edited like music videos. They should be a lot more static I think, and let the viewer experience it a little more like an audience member.

Always Remember Us This Way is one of my all-time favourite Gaga songs, but in the YouTube videos I’ve watched, she sounds horribly off-key, almost throughout the entire song. Is it the dodgy phone videos or the sound in the stadiums? I presume she’s very much singing in tune in the flesh?

See, this is exactly what I don’t want. I like heavy editing. It’s often difficult to capture the excitement and energy on film and post production editing really makes up for that in my opinion. I love the layering of backdrop screens on top of the performer and quick cuts during dance routines.

They’re atrocious and that’s coming from a massive fan who has seen her in concert dozens of times since the 90s.

I’ve genuinely enjoyed dodgy phone videos of shows more than the officially directed releases. The Akerlund ones are appalling.
