Wearing my Joanne shirt tonight as a protest.
She's such a fucking weirdo, I love her
Have a great time tonight, everyone!
The BTW alien heads appearing in the LoveGame visuals feels like a personal attack
This show better fucking be filmed at some point, she looks like she's having an absolute blast and it's contagious to watch.
Apparently Jessie Ware is at tonight's show. We need pics dd.
Her serving this at the start of the Sour Candy performance always sends me
New version of the interlude that leads into ‘Alice’ at tonight’s show:
Also, apparently it’s being filmed. I read that golden circle ticket holders were given two light up bracelets tonight.
The music in that interlude serving Mike Oldfield/Enigma...a shoot!
If this tour does get filmed, I hope it’s recorded in a closed roof stadium. It looks SO much better in the dark. (Also hoping for lots of post production effects, but I know Madonna gets a lot of hate for that. Maybe that has more to do with the cuts/editing?)
Jonas akerlund’s edits give me a headache sometimes
I hate when live shows are edited like music videos. They should be a lot more static I think, and let the viewer experience it a little more like an audience member.
Madonna’s tour videos are borderline unwatchable for me.
I don't mind dynamic concert editing, but no one has ever been able to match or top the way it was done on The Confessions Tour, not even Madonna herself.
I'm only going by the livestream but I'm loving the crowds energy tonight, it seems better than last night's. She really seems in her element this tour.
Always Remember Us This Way is one of my all-time favourite Gaga songs, but in the YouTube videos I’ve watched, she sounds horribly off-key, almost throughout the entire song. Is it the dodgy phone videos or the sound in the stadiums? I presume she’s very much singing in tune in the flesh?
I've seen fans commenting the band is playing it sped up? But I didn't notice it during my show to be honest.
See, this is exactly what I don’t want. I like heavy editing. It’s often difficult to capture the excitement and energy on film and post production editing really makes up for that in my opinion. I love the layering of backdrop screens on top of the performer and quick cuts during dance routines.
I couldn’t agree less!
She sounded incredible singing it live last night, felt right out of the movie.
The guy next to me screaming it tunelessly, however…
They’re atrocious and that’s coming from a massive fan who has seen her in concert dozens of times since the 90s.
I’ve genuinely enjoyed dodgy phone videos of shows more than the officially directed releases. The Akerlund ones are appalling.
