Lady Gaga - The Chromatica Ball

She did a show in Paraguay, 2 in South Africa and then was performing in Norway in less than 2 weeks on the BTWB, so yeah, it's doable.

The BTWB had multiple stages built for it and an album that was selling 8m copies, plus a performer who wasn't so triggered by international travel. It's a bit tight, especially considering what happened when she squeezed in court dates and Grammys on her last tour.

I don't think we'd be getting a BTWB level set anyway. Probably something similar to Joanne.

It's not like the staging is the problem with Enigma! She has plenty of set pieces, levels, and flying moments. It's the concepts and ensembles that are the issue there.

The Joanne set was pretty elaborate, to the point it was stripped down for stadiums. Enigma has a great stage, the problem is the "Enigma on wheels" stage she brought around for her corporate clown tour.

Very true. I was thinking the main stage which was still pretty complex. I forget all about the multiple b stages.

I guess since the entire tour is a stadium tour it wont be a case of putting parts of an arena stage into a stadium like the Joanne tour, or fitting a stage designed for a specific theatre onto whatever stage a company had paid for her to perform on. Maybe they waited to announced Tokyo to make sure it was logistically doable once the stage was finalised? The rumoured dates from 2020 have now all turned out to be true, the only exception being Singapore, so presumably they planned it with the intention of getting production over to Japan.

I believe that independently of the size and dates in general, they have at least 2 stages to ship around and emergencies. On a tight schedule, one mistake could cost many other shows.

And even if not the case, they have 4 days to send everything back from Japan dd.

Would be extra cool to have another set of date for South Hemisphere.

Is there even a reason for them to have a proper opener? I feel like if there was going to be one, it would have been announced by now. If most of the tickets are sold then they don't need to increase incentive to purchase (and is Rina big enough to do that?) with an act that commands a bigger fee. I would expect a local DJ or nothing, to be honest.
