She's killing it on the special so far, I really missed seeing her perform.....she's such a natural.
This is a good indicator for success in other categories. Apropos of nothing (so I don't jinx it dd) but Daft Punk won this in 2014, Beck won this in 2015, Bruno won it in 2017, and Billie won it in 2020.
Honestly let's be happy with that logical win for her. I've seen a lot of fans screeming at a Lady Gaga snub while she actually won what she was meant to win...

Oh, that's devastating news. I'm terribly sad. Sending so much love to his family and loved ones, especially Susan and his son who both had such a beautiful relationship with him from the stuff I've seen. And of course I can imagine Gaga will take this very hard.

I loved how Mr. Bennett appreciated everyone from Billie Holiday to Lady Gaga. I love his albums with Gaga and k.d. lang. I love how he appreciated younger artists. Sharing a stage with k.d. lang, an openly gay artist, in the '90s confirmed to me he was not only cool but a kind human being.

So sad to hear the news. But wow, what a long, fulfilled live and legacy.
Sad news, of course, but what a rich, accomplished life. And an almost unheard of rarity to have gained cultural significance in the latter half of his career. I honestly think he got better as he aged. I mean, the man was in his sixties during his MTV Unplugged era.
