Here it is - The Lady Gaga: Unreleased, demos and rarities rate!
A casual discussion in another thread sparked an idea of rating Lady Gaga’s unreleased music and rarities, and here we are. Things happened rather quickly, so the rate opened less than a month after being requested (which overrode my initial first rate idea, that is No Doubt discography rate).
This can be seen as a ‘continuation’ of Lady Gaga’s discography rate, wonderfully hosted by @Subwaykid.
We all know that she has tons of unreleased material and rare songs that are being greatly underappreciated, so why not give them a chance to shine? Also, consider this a great opportunity to dive further into the talentry and discover amazing songs, as well as a journey through her days before the fame. Arguably, one can say that there’s as much as (or perhaps even more) variety among her unreleased music than on her five/six/seven released albums.

Parameters for the songs that are included:
- No official singles, with or without features ("Chillin'", "Big Girl Now", and "Video Phone" fall into this category)
- Songs where Gaga is labelled as a featured artist aren’t included (e.g. “PARTYNAUSEOUS”, “Red Flame”, "Murder My Heart" etc.)
- Covers are excluded (goodbye to “Cheek to Cheek” (the album), “Don’t Give Up”, “Your Song” etc.)
- Original songs that were only performed live were initially included, but due to some of them having no redeemable sound quality, two of them were cut (“Living on the Radio” and “Princess Die”)
- Early, demo and/or alternate versions of officially released songs are excluded (e.g. “Sometimes”, “I Wanna Be With You”, “Burqa”, early demo of “The Fame” etc.)
Rules:
- There are 60 songs split into 7 sections: six of them are based on the years they were recorded/released/performed in, as well as one EP.
- Rate all songs from 1 to 10.
- Decimal scores are allowed, no matter how many decimal places (but don’t go too crazy with them). I love tiebreakers.
- You can award one 11 to a song you think deserves that score. On the other hand, you can give one 0. Neither are a necessity.
- Commentary isn’t obligatory, but is greatly encouraged. They are always a great read, so at least try to scribble something for your 11 (or 0).
- Please be considerate when giving out scores, since the sound quality varies, because most of the songs, after all, are demos.
- So-called ‘troll’ scores won’t be accepted.
