Not really. The producers get credited as co-writers, but Fernando said in an interview that their additions to the lyrics are minor and she doesn't even need to officially credit them (but she does).

Though, after some further inspection, this might be the case but why would she be working with any of these people?

I get the impression that "Maren" is either an extremely old, unfinished demo from 2008. Or it's something she's written for Demi Lovato or one of those other Disney Clones.

I refuse to believe she's letter herself anywhere within a 1000 mile radius with song writers that brought us something as uninspired and horribly middle-of -the-road as 'Marilyn Monroe'. Not to mention the idea it could be included on her new album.

Could be for someone elses album, I suppose.

Chances are it's the publishers of the other writers who have only just published the songs on BMI/ASCAP.

She credits them because royalties > production fee. A lot of producers actually insist on 'buying' a writing credit now; there's very few 'producer producers' anymore, they're all 'writer producers' because royalties are a constant income stream.

She's working with more unknown producers on ARTPOP besides the confirmed ZEED, WhiteShadow, Garibay, and RedOne?

While not as genius as the first and kind of try-hard, the hat attached to the hair falling off at the end is indeed genius and makes it all worth it.

She looks really sexy in these Terry Richardson shorts as much as it pains me to say because I think he's a vile pervert. I hope she releases a full video for the song at some point. She has the 'glam high class porn star chic' down pat.
