That was so good. Like, so so good. I know a lot of people rolled their eyes and their noses away but it’s really one of my favorite moments in her career.
I remember some people around me going “oh she’s over after this, they’ll shred her tomorrow” and… the reception was good?! At least from what I remember. Minor chaos like the Demi comments but overall the vibe was changing from the constant backlash from late 2012-2013.
This and then that Inflate dress (????) after the Last artRave show where people were going “whewwww Gaga is killing it again with Fashion!” and getting coverage from going to the club.
2014 was… a wild year to be a fan.

As much as I hated the era back then, I have to admit that I have such a soft spot for the album. The tour has really revitalized my faith in Popstar-Ga and I cannot wait to see where she's heading next musically/visually.

Has Gaga hinted at working on anything via socials other than Haus Labs stuff? Shooting has been over for a few months and she must be up to something.
Apparently the sessions booked HasItLeaked were alluding to are all later this year, Q3/Q4.
I vaguely remember her team issuing a statement that she’s taking a break after filming Joker, and I assume that’s what this is along with Haus Labs.

They've worked together a few times already. Outside of Joanne, he was a musical director on Fame Kills/The Monster Ball 1.0 in 2009. But I don't think anything is happening, honestly. I don't expect her to actively work on an album for a while. I'd live for her to return to "real instruments" though, Joanne 2.0 style, and send a section of her fanbase into a spiral.

Joanne and ASIB was enough of that for a while. I’m only here for it if it’s electric guitars and analog synths and it’s some kid of hybrid nu-metal album. So Born This Way 2.0!
Gags going Jeff Bhasker would be like, dream collab. I almost dropped dead when I saw few weeks ago he was the actual Music Director of Monster Ball 1.0, years before Joanne. The whole Analog-More-Instruments approach is full of possibilities for someone like her but..... whoever's on the car with her will need to know when to put their foot down on the gas.

After Kesha's album, I would really love to see her work with Rick Rubin again. I know "Dope" isn't loved by a lot of people, but I would die for an minimal electronic approach with maybe some funkier Mark Ronson/Kevin Parker tracks thrown in.
