Lady Gaga

It's actually insane to watch this like I feel like we just uncovered a time capsule or something. She's always been such a star. She sounds fantastic there (something must have been going on with the keyboard though during Paparazzi ff you could tell it threw her off)

This is really surreal. I love seeing this footage after all those years. The random close up on her butt during Dirty Ice Cream is sending me tho nn

I love Dirty Ice Cream so much.

I’m not too familiar with the recording timeline for The Fame - when we’re Just Dance, Poker Face, Love Game written/recorded?

I think most of the songs she did with RedOne for The Fame (outtakes included) were written/recorded in 2007, but “Just Dance”, “LoveGame”, “Paper Gangsta”, and “Poker Face” were written in early 2008.

Also, watching through her set and interview, it's crazy seeing her so sporadic. Her stage presence was always there but she was so full-throttle trying to carve her seat at the table and it shows through every early moment. The Monster Ball is one of my favorite tours, and even then there were elements that were so unpolished and theatrical.

And of course that's part of the appeal, but wow. She grew leaps and bounds after those first few years, even if becoming a cultural force so quickly.

I don't know if this is unpopular or not but honestly the two standout tracks for me on The Fame have always been Money Honey and Starstruck. Both fantastic and capture the essence of early Gaga so well.
