Lady Gaga

Circling back on this I believe this is completely contrived bullshit. Why would Gaga be clamoring after a demo in 2010 when she just finished releasing arguably the greatest singles run of all time across two albums? All of which she wrote herself?

And after that she then supposedly wanted some track by some random songwriter songwriter - who, looking at her credits, the only decent song writing credits she has is Blow Your Mind by Dua - and produced by someone far from her orbit, and didn't get it? You're telling me that in 2010, after all of her success, that a track she wanted didn't go to her, but went to Enrique instead?? Really?

And we never heard about it until now? Utter bullshit. Gaga would have never recorded, less been interested in a song of that lower caliber. Sounds like this woman wants some attention. Maybe she has a cute song she wrote recently she wants picked up.

I don't buy it.

Sis why are you so aggressive over this dd

It’s obvious it was an A&R (likely Troy or Vincent) who reached out and not Gaga herself. There’s so many random collabs and pitched tracks that were earmarked for her around that 2010–2012 period, including one with Swedish House Mafia.

Did we ever get that shirt design from the Chromatica Ball merch (I believe) where her head is a maze in good quality? Did I dream this?! I can't find it anywhere. (@mindtrappa I feel like I always pester you for this stuff but you're the safest bet dd)

I just discovered today that the infamous initial demo of Free Woman wasn't produced by Boyz Noise or another early collaborator but BloodPop or at least Wikipedia says so. According to Axwell, they went back afterwards to make it smoother and that they did, in fact the whole album is probably a bit too smooth. I have to wonder if the issue was never BloodPop but all the EDM bros he brought along as the initial work he did was more closely aligned with what we all wanted when we heard house album.

One last relitigation of Chromatica before LG7.

The issue was never BloodPop, as much as fans like to blame him. People forget that he was part of the album early on as well. I imagine when Gaga decided to take a step back from being heavily involved he started reaching out to other producers to help pick up the slack and trying to make the sessions fun for Gaga, since she wanted to be everywhere but the recording studio and couldn’t get through a session without crying.
